With the continuous development of society, various problems of junior high school students have emerged, among which the aggressive behavior of junior high school students has received widespread attention from all walks of life. The occurrence of aggressive behavior in junior high school students is influenced by individual factors, environmental factors, and various types of trauma experienced in childhood, which may increase the probability of aggressive behavior.Previous research has shown that attachment security priming may reduce the negative effects of childhood trauma. Therefore, this study intends to use questionnaire surveys, behavioral experiments, and other methods to explore the impact of childhood trauma on the aggressiveness of middle school students and the role of secure attachment in it.Study 1 used a questionnaire survey to investigate the relationship between childhood trauma and aggressive behavior,as well as the role of attachment. The study surveyed 623 junior high school students in Shaanxi Province using the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire-Short Form(CTQ-SF),the Brief Version of the Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment, and the Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire. The results showed that childhood trauma could significantly predict aggressive behavior in junior high school students, and attachment played an intermediate role in the relationship between the two.Study 2,based on Study 1,investigated the role of attachment security priming in the relationship between childhood trauma and aggressive behavior. This study selected120 junior high school students as research subjects and divided them into four groups:childhood trauma-neutral control group(n=30),childhood trauma-attachment security priming group(n=30),non-childhood trauma-neutral control group(n=30),and non-childhood trauma-attachment security priming group(n=30).The attachment security priming group was stimulated by recalling experiences that could trigger a sense of security, while the neutral activation group was stimulated in the same way to trigger neutral experiences. Finally, the hot sauce paradigm was used to measure aggressive behavior. The results showed that among the subjects in the childhood trauma group, compared with the neutral activation group, those who experienced attachment security priming exhibited less aggressive behavior.Based on the above, this study confirms that childhood trauma can trigger aggressive behavior in junior high school students, and attachment plays a partially intermediate role in it,attachment security priming can mitigate the impact of childhood trauma on aggressive behavior in junior high school students. These results can provide more reference value for the study of the relationship between childhood trauma and aggressive behavior.
