Study On The Unearthed Ornaments Of Shajing Culture

The Shajing Culture is mainly distributed between Minqin Oasis and Yongchang Basin in the Badain Jaran Desert and Tengger Desert.The representative site was found in Shajingzi Village,Minqin County,Gansu Province,which is equivalent to the Middle Western Zhou Dynasty to the Warring States Period in the Central Plains.In this paper,through the collation of Shajing cultural relics in Jinchang and Minqin,it is found that the relics unearthed from Shajing cultural sites near Shajingzi in Minqin are basically stone and pottery,and the number of ornaments unearthed is small,while the number of ornaments unearthed from Shajing cultural sites in Jinchang Triangle City is large and the shape is rich.A total of more than 659 ornaments were unearthed from Shajing Culture,including 396 ornaments unearthed from Xigang cemetery,192 ornaments unearthed from Chaiwangang cemetery,51 ornaments unearthed from Hamadun cemetery,and ornaments unearthed from other sites,but the number is relatively small.Through the statistics of the ornaments unearthed from Shajing Culture,the ornaments are divided into three types : beaded ornaments,animal ornaments and other shape ornaments based on geometric ornaments.The ornaments of Shajing culture are mainly distributed in the waist and nearby areas of the tomb owner.They are mainly used as ornaments in the funerary objects.The shape is simple,the materials are bronze products,the shape is small,and the bronze smelting technology is rough.The number of ornaments unearthed in the tombs is related to the social class of Shajing.The higher the social status of the tomb owner,the more the number of ornaments unearthed in the tombs,the more abundant the types.There are many beaded ornaments unearthed in female tombs,most of which are unearthed together with animal ornaments,bronze bubbles,hooks and other ornaments into belt ornaments.The ornaments unearthed in male tombs are mostly strip ornaments,reflecting the aesthetic differences between men and women.Decorative patterns are mainly geometric and animal patterns.Geometric patterns are mainly ridge patterns,circle patterns and stud patterns.The animal ornamentation mainly includes realistic deer pattern,horse pattern,sheep pattern and bird pattern,as well as abstract dragon pattern and bird pattern.Most of the decoration composition is symmetrical style,which is obvious in animal decoration.Double bird head shape,double horse head shape and double ox head shape are typical representatives of symmetrical style.The symmetry of decoration is mostly the same left and right symmetry,upper and lower symmetry,etc.,so that the decoration contains a dynamic beauty.Through the analysis of the decorated tombs and the unearthed decorated tombs,it is found that older women had a higher social status in the Shajing society at that time.Comparing the ornaments of Shajing culture with those of Yanglang culture and Maoqinggou culture,through the analysis of the similarities and differences of the ornaments and patterns,it is believed that there is a cultural exchange between Shajing culture and Yanglang culture and Maoqinggou culture.
