| As one of the tools to control horses, the bouncer plays an important role in the harness.A bouncer is often used in combination with a horse’s bits. The bits are placed at the horse’s mouth and pushed close to both sides of the horse’s face to steer the horse. This paper takes the bouncer as the research object in Shanxi-Gan-Ningxia region during the Han Dynasty.Combining with the changes of social class, people’s aesthetic and casting technology, this paper analyzes the changes of the bouncer’s material, decoration and shape in different periods. In this paper,a total of 360 pairs of horse guards are collected and sorted through a large number of archaeological material unearthed in Shaanxi,Gansu and Ningxia during the Han Dynasty.First, maps and tables were used to analyze the distribution of boundsmen from different materials, periods and sites.Secondly,on the basis of statistical sorting, this paper classifies organic and inorganic bodyguards into different forms.By using archeological typos, this paper traces back the evolution of the form of bodyguards before Han Dynasty, focusing on the study of the evolution of the form of bodyguards in Shanxi-Ganshan-Ningxia region during Han Dynasty.According to the morphological evolution sequence, organic bodyguards are mainly flat type and curved type, while inorganic bodyguards are mainly S type, straight column type, curved type and C type. The shape of the bodyguards is gradually enriched by changes in curvature, curvature, ornamentation at both ends, thickness and thickness. Then,on the basis of the physical division of the Bouncer, the organic bouncer and the inorganic bouncer are studied. Then,a detailed analysis is made of the Bouncer’s decoration. The moire and line patterns reflect the Han people’s longing and pursuit for a better life. Finally, combining with the social background at that time, this paper analyzes the characteristics of the tomb unearthed in Han and Han Dynasties, and studies the shape of the tomb, the position of the horse bodyguards and the social status of the tomb owners.Presumably, the higher the rank, the higher the size of the burial, the more numerous the bodyguards, the more expensive the material, the more elaborate the decoration. At present, there are few special researches on the unearthed horse guards in the tombs and sites of the Han Dynasty in Shaan-Ganshan-Ningxia region.Based on archaeological excavation reports and abundant literature,I have made a type analysis of Boundarii, and analyzed the characteristics of the time, region and differences between different regions. It is helpful to understand the burial style of Han Dynasty in Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia area by exploring the burial characteristics of bodyguards in ancient times under the concept of "things die like things survive". |
