Exploration And Creative Practice Of Contemporary Urban Meticulous Figure Painting

Upon the social background of rapid urbanization,meticulous figure paintings that express real life,reflect the spirit of the times,portray characters in the new era,and show urban life scenes continue to emerge.Such works have even become an important part of contemporary painting creation.Based on real life,the creators make insights into the various life styles of urban people,integrate their true feelings,convey humanistic care,and create works that are close to life and have great aesthetic value,which express the beauty of the times,the beauty of life and the beauty of human nature.At present,the creation of meticulous figure painting is no longer limited to the reproduction of realistic images,but also pays attention to the expression of the creator’s aesthetic attitude and inner emotion,so that propels the development of meticulous figure painting into a new stage.This thesis starts with the formal language of urban-themed meticulous figure painting,and makes relevant analysis and exploration in combination with creative practice.Discussions are made from four aspects: 1)an overview of the formation,development and objects of urban-themed meticulous figure painting;2)an analysis of the formal language of contemporary representatives of urban-themed meticulous figure paintings;3)an explanation of the practical significance of such works;4)specific presentations of urban themes in the author’s figure painting works.
