Research On Emotion Expression In Character Documentary

As an important branch of documentary,character documentary plays a pivotal role in documentary creation.Character documentary takes people as its main subjects,objectively and truthfully records the daily life of the subjects,shows the changes of the emotions of the characters,and excavates the meaning and value behind the stories of the characters.Emotional expression is an important criterion to measure the quality of a documentary.Whether the emotions in a documentary are rich and the inner meaning behind the emotions determines the value and significance that the documentary can present.Documentaries focus on emotional moving,to emotional people,no emotional factors of the documentary,doomed to lack of soul.A good documentary requires the creator to put his emotions into the shooting,capture the true feelings of the characters,find the flash points with universal values on the characters,and dig the inner emotional world of the characters.Combined with the graduation work "The Guardian of the Stars",this paper first introduces the research object and scope,research methods and significance,literature review and other aspects in the introduction,and gives a brief description of the main research ideas of this paper.The first chapter mainly gives a general overview of the development of character documentary and then introduces the value meaning of emotion.The second chapter mainly describes the emotional composition of the character documentary and the internal elements and significance of emotional expression through the character documentary emotional composition and emotional externalization of two parts.The third chapter mainly analyzes the role of audiovisual language in strengthening emotion in character documentary content,how to deepen emotion expression through lens,sound,color and other aspects,so that the audience can have empathy,and calls for people to pay better attention to this group.In the last chapter,the author combined his graduation work "The Guardian of the Stars" to deepen and summarize the research content,literature and theoretical content accumulated in the first three chapters,introduced the spiritual course in the creation process and put forward his shortcomings and reflections in the creation process.
