Study On The Creation Of Ma Busheng’s Novels

Ma Busheng’s novels mainly reflect the unique human nature and social history of the Great Northwest,combine individual experience,local culture and folk customs of aesthetic observation,with "Yuwai Village" as the center,to build a literary world with distinct artistic style.From the examination of the real rural life and the people of the world to the historical and cultural depth of the Longdong family and the folk jianghu in the west,Ma Busheng always maintains the folk stance and humanitarian spirit,reflecting on the rural folk culture and the process of Chinese modernization with a sense of anxiety.In this paper,Ma Busheng’s novel creation as the research object,the use of text close reading,comparative research,literary geography and other research methods,on the basis of reading and combing Ma Busheng’s novels and related literature,the novel is summarized and studied,and then explore the unique value of his novel writing Longdong rural and western family,as well as the artistic characteristics and spiritual characteristics.Apart from the introduction,the thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter takes Ma Busheng’s novels as the main research object and focuses on the family writing of his novels.Ma Busheng,through the Chinese traditional family in the political,economic,cultural three directions of the difficult attempt to the modern,on the one hand narrating the changes of the family in the big history,on the other hand through the family metaphor of China’s modern history.The Markov family in different texts under his works does not have continuity or integrity,and the fractured time and space are interwoven in the same text or different texts,thus constructing the imaginary vortex and space-time fault of the historical blank.The grand historical process is no longer the focus of Ma Busheng’s family novels,but the influence of historical process on the family is everywhere,It is through the writing of family and family members,through the changes of their fate,the artistic representation of the ups and downs of individual destiny and life experience in the tide of history,playing an elegy of the continuous decline of traditional family.The second chapter takes Ma Busheng’s short stories as the main object of study and discusses the local writing of Ma Busheng’s novels.In Ma Busheng’s works,the suffering and ethics of the rural world bring up the physical and spiritual pain of the local people.In the process of modernization,the closure and forced opening of the countryside make the rural people suffer the spiritual change again when they go to the city and return to their hometown,resulting in a tragedy of survival.It is the deep understanding of Chinese traditional rural society,deep emotion,criticism and remembrance,distance and remembrance that constitute Ma Busheng’s complex emotion when the traditional rural world inevitably declines.The third chapter mainly narrate the narrative art of Ma Busheng’s novels.From the construction of unique literary geographical space in "Yuwai Village",the integration of elegance and vulgarity in language to the multiple integration of narrative focus,Ma Busheng’s novels show the writer’s unique narrative art.The fourth chapter is based on the overall study of Ma Busheng’s novels to explore the spiritual source and characteristics of his novels.His study of history and preference for legends made him have a profound understanding of the folk chivalry and bandit culture.On the one hand,he writes about the folk spirit of primitive wildness,life consciousness and moral adherence carried by western swordsman.On the other hand,the combination of chivalry and bandit characters with the process of Chinese modernization presents his dialectical thinking on the evolution of human nature and the fate of the nation.Secondly,the spirit of grandeur,freedom and tenacity inherent in the western region are also the spiritual characteristics of Ma Busheng’s novels.Finally,the thinking and writing of modern Chinese history make Ma Busheng’s novels have a profound sense of anxiety and the spirit of reflection.The conclusion summarizes Ma Busheng’s novels and points out the distinctive features and shortcomings of his novels.At the same time,and looks forward to Ma Busheng’s novel creation and the future of the contemporary Gansu novels.
