Northwest Myth Film Adaptation Research

The northwest region is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization and the Chinese nation.In the process of generation and evolution,the northwest myth has gradually formed unique types and characteristics,representing the highest achievement of Chinese mythology and becoming an important branch of the Chinese mythology system.The northwest myth is gradually accumulated on the basis of the unique cultural geography and social relations in the northwest.It has the prototype coding nature of sacred narrative,reflects the spiritual original appearance of the northwest ancestors ’ striving,perseverance and endless life,carries the rich primitive worship,civilization progress and social cognitive factors in the northwest region,and is endowed with strong belief significance,cultural value,aesthetic emotion and national spirit.It deeply nourishes the social life of generations of northwest people and even the whole Chinese nation,and affects the promotion and development direction of Chinese civilization to a certain extent.From the perspective of contemporary culture and new media technology,it is a very positive and effective choice to reinterpret,recognize and innovate the northwest myth,especially through the film and television art widely loved and accepted by the public,to adapt and innovate modern art and aesthetics,expand and enhance the value dimension and utility level of myth,so as to realize the modern transformation of the original narrative art and the strong inheritance of the excellent national tradition.To study the film and television adaptation of Northwest Mythology,the main core issue is to explore the transformation of Northwest Mythology from text to image presentation and narrative form.In the process of film and television adaptation of Northwest Mythology,we find out the characteristics and aesthetic pursuit of film and television adaptation of Mythology,find out the problems in the process of film and television adaptation of Mythology,and put forward some feasible suggestions for the creation of film and television adaptation of Northwest Mythology.The full text is divided into four chapters to discuss.First of all,from a macro perspective,the cultural and historical accumulation of northwest mythology is sorted out.The adaptation of northwest mythological film and television is inseparable from the mythological text.The mythological text can provide a production basis for the creation of mythological film and television dramas.From the mythological stories recorded in the classics to the folk legends handed down orally,it provides material for the adaptation of northwest mythological film and television.Secondly,from the current situation of the adaptation of northwest myth film and television in the Chinese film and television drama market,we can understand several reproduction methods of the current myth adaptation film and television works,and explore the aesthetic spirit and practical significance contained therein.Thirdly,starting from the text construction and narrative form of the adaptation of the northwest mythological film and television,this paper analyzes the plot type,narrative structure and intertextuality narrative of the mythological film and television drama,and reflects on the current development of the mythological film and television drama,but the phenomenon of uneven production.Finally,from the most popular cross-media narrative perspective,this paper explores the phenomenon of the reconstruction of northwest myth resources,and puts forward some constructive suggestions for the reconstruction of northwest myth resources.
