| With the deep blending of information technology and education,online teaching mode has been widely applied,but scepticism about the quality of online teaching and the effectiveness of online learning has also occurred.Thus,the importance of online learning evaluation has been highlighted.At present,there is little experience about online learning evaluation in secondary vocational education,and there are many problems in the implementation process.Therefore,the practical application effect of online learning evaluation in the teaching process of public English courses of secondary vocational schools remains to be considered.In this paper,the subjects of the study is students and English teachers from three secondary vocational and technical schools in H City,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.The research methodology was literature research,questionnaires and interviews to deeply understand the current situation of online English learning of secondary vocational students,analyzes the application and effect of online learning evaluation of various dimensions in the public English course of secondary vocational schools,and mainly answers three questions:(1)What are the characteristics of online English learning of students in secondary vocational schools and how does it affect learning evaluation?(2)The application situation and problems of online learning evaluation in public English teaching in secondary vocational schools?(3)How to optimize and construct the evaluation framework of public English online learning in secondary vocational schools from the perspectives of evaluation subjects and standards? Research results:(1)In the process of online English learning,some secondary vocational students cannot guarantee the most basic attendance,students’ independent learning ability,concentration in listening to lectures and ability to overcome the interference of external factors are at the lower level and the orientation of self-learning results is fuzzy.It has a certain influence on the selection of evaluation methods and the formulation of evaluation criteria.(2)Examination,homework,teacher evaluation,peer evaluation and student self-evaluation are widely used in the evaluation methods of online English learning.There is no distinction between the evaluation methods of different course types.The overall performance is that the evaluation subject is single,the application of student main evaluation method is few,the evaluation standard is unified,the difference of students’ learning level is ignored,and the evaluation purpose is unclear.It is difficult to achieve the effect of promoting learning by evaluation.(3)The objective is to optimize the application effect of online learning evaluation,and according to the survey results,constructs the evaluation framework of public English online learning in secondary vocational schools as the expression form of optimization strategy,and establishes four elements in the evaluation subject dimension: students,teachers,learning peers(student groups)and online learning platform.In the evaluation method dimension,nine evaluation methods were selected for different learning activities of listening,speaking,reading and writing.On the basis of promoting English learning,five evaluation purposes were divided according to different evaluation methods: timely feedback,promoting reflection,promoting collaboration,promoting learning motivation and promoting scoring fairness.Eleven content elements such as attendance and online listening time were established in the dimension of evaluation criteria.In the dimension of evaluation results feedback,clarifying the content structure and timing of feedback for listening,speaking and reading and writing courses.The online learning evaluation framework constructed in this paper aims to enrich the teaching methods of English classes in secondary vocational schools and provide references for the design and implementation of English online learning evaluation.In the implementation process,appropriate selection and adjustment should be made according to the specific teaching tasks and contents involved in English teaching. |
