Red tourism has political functions that are not available in conventional tourism activities.In addition,it also has economic and cultural functions.This is why red tourism has attracted much attention in recent years.On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of the Communist Party of China,red tourism has ushered in a new peak of development.As the birthplace of the Communist Party of China,Shanghai has a large number of red tourism resources.The three characteristic cultures of red culture,Haipai culture,and Jiangnan culture constitute Shanghai’s unique urban cultural connotation and quality,of which red culture is a special part of its urban cultural composition.In order to further promote the promotion of red culture and the development of red tourism,Huangpu District,as the representative of Shanghai,has made a large number of attempts to develop new forms of red tourism in order to show the characteristics of Shanghai’s red tourist attractions.The development of tourism has continuously promoted the upgrading and upgrading of tourist attractions.In order to better provide tourists with better cultural services in the process of the development of red tourism,conducting research on tourist satisfaction in the process of improving red tourist attractions is conducive to better matching the supply of red culture with the needs of tourists.Therefore,as a special tourism activity,red tourism faces an important issue in its development process is how to improve the quality and level of its service supply,thereby improving the satisfaction of tourists.Based on tourism experience theory,this paper is based on the actual development of red tourism in Huangpu District,Shanghai.Starting from the theory of tourist satisfaction,it uses literature research method,questionnaire research method,and statistical analysis method to select 18 indicators in four dimensions,construct a red tourist satisfaction model,design a questionnaire,and use Huangpu District as a case study to study the factors that affect the satisfaction of red tourists.Through the collection and collation of questionnaire data,the reliability analysis,validity analysis,verification factor analysis,correlation analysis and structural equation model analysis of the questionnaire results,it was found that: in the dimension of tourist perceived value,there are three relationships between tourist satisfaction and its influencing factors: “Strong significant,weak significant and weak significant”.That is: a strong and significant relationship is formed between infrastructure construction and tourist satisfaction,a weak and significant relationship is formed between red cultural excavation and landscape design elements and tourist satisfaction,and a weak and significant relationship is formed between management services and tourist satisfaction.Then,by combining the current situation of red tourism in Huangpu District with the analysis results of the questionnaire for analysis,suggestions for strengthening landscape design,digging deep into red culture,and enhancing management services were put forward.
