The opera "Diary of an Angel" was created in February 2020 and premiered in Wuhan in October of the same year.It was created and performed in the shortest time after the outbreak of the epidemic.It is China’s first national opera reflecting the spirit of fighting the epidemic,and also a large-scale heroic epic reproducing the unity of the Chinese nation against the disease.This is an important milestone."I want to Cry,I can’t Cry",the main character of the opera,is one of the most representative parts of the opera.It uses traditional Chinese opera elements as background music to accentuate the singing content.In just two minutes,it shows the different emotional changes of the heroine "LAN Zhinian".At the same time,the singing state also changes with the emotional changes of LAN Nian,which is worthy of our in-depth study and analysis.On the basis of grasping the character character and psychological changes of "LAN Zhi Nian",this paper firstly analyzes the background music and musical structure of the canto,then studies the content of the singing part and analyzes the performance of the character "LAN Zhi Nian" on the stage,so as to facilitate the better grasp and application of the singing in the future.
