As an important period of the development of ancient enlightenment education in China,the Song Dynasty has a milestone significance in the history of ancient enlightenment education in China.The social unrest in the Song Dynasty,in order to maintain the feudal rule,pay special attention to the role of basic education in cultivating talents,Confucianism and so on.The implementation of the Wenzhi system in the Song Dynasty and the spread of Confucianism,the majority of Confucian scholars,especially philosophers,have devoted themselves to the enlightenment education,so that education has shown a specialized and diversified development trend.The three major movements have promoted the construction and vigorous development of various enlightenment education.Coupled with the continuous improvement of the imperial examination system,the enlightenment education has gradually broken through the shackles of the traditional class,and more and more children have been given the opportunity to contact the enlightenment knowledge.Under the joint action of these factors,the enlightenment education in the Song Dynasty inherited the development achievements of the previous generation of enlightenment education and got further development.This paper tries to sort out and subdivide the historical knowledge points in the course of enlightenment in the Song Dynasty,summarize and introduce its scope,key knowledge,nature,and its historical significance and modern reference to the development of enlightenment history.It not only helps people to understand the development of the course of enlightenment history since the Song Dynasty,but also a supplement to the study of ancient Chinese history teaching.This paper is divided into four parts to discuss.The first part focuses on the introduction of the specific situation of enlightenment education before the Song Dynasty.The content generally includes the following three parts : The first part is an overview of the situation of enlightenment education before the Song Dynasty,mainly including the introduction of the three periods of pre-Qin,Qin and Han Dynasties,Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties,Sui,Tang and Five Dynasties.Secondly,the reasons for the prosperity of enlightenment education in the Song Dynasty are the implementation of cultural and educational policies,the guarantee of material basis,the development of Neo-Confucianism and the invention of printing.Finally,the performance of the development of enlightenment education in the Song Dynasty is discussed from three aspects : content,textbook and form.The second part is the Song Dynasty enlightenment history books.According to its content and writing form,it is divided into five categories : comprehensive,specialized,allusions,historical poems and quotations,and introduces the classic books.The third part is to analyze the main contents of these textbooks.According to the corresponding categories,it is divided into historical education research(mainly including historical view,historical figures,historical events,historical common sense),ethical and moral education(benevolence and righteousness,loyalty and filial piety,integrity),life response education(determination,code of conduct).The fourth part is based on the analysis of the content of the reading materials,and summarizes the characteristics of the history education of the Song Dynasty.It mainly has the following characteristics : rich content and diverse forms;strong color of Neo-Confucianism;emphasis on ethical and moral education;always serve the ruling class.The fifth part mainly introduces that the enlightenment history education in Song Dynasty has an important influence on promoting the habit formation of Mongolian children,social atmosphere,the ways and means of enlightenment education,the compilation of enlightenment books and the development of historiography.Enlightenment education is also an important part of education in the Song Dynasty.As an important part of the traditional education of the Chinese nation,it was rapidly developed in the Song Dynasty.Neo-Confucians in the Song Dynasty actively participated in teaching.The compilation of enlightenment books also created a model for the later compilation of enlightenment textbooks,which also had a certain impact on the enlightenment history education of later generations.The history education of the Song Dynasty is the main part of the ancient Chinese history education.Through the in-depth discussion of the study of the history of the Song Dynasty,the combination of historical research and education not only expands the new field of Chinese historical research,but also has great reference value for the study of the history of Chinese historiography and the development of Chinese historiography.
