There are four language proficiency objectives in Chinese language education,namely listening,speaking,writing and reading.Since most Chinese families still use Chinese to communicate,many Chinese students already have basic listening and speaking skills before they start school,but their shortcomings in reading and writing are more obvious.The ability to read and understand Chinese texts and to produce effective written output is an important goal for teachers.These two areas are difficult for students to learn and difficult for teachers to teach,so appropriate methods need to be used to facilitate the teaching and learning of Chinese reading and writing.Based on the premise that most Chinese students have a certain level of Chinese language proficiency,the "Read-write integration" approach can be used to combine input and output to help students build a mental schema of reading and writing.This paper tries to apply the teaching method of "Read-write integration" to Yunhua Teachers College Primary School,and through the investigation and analysis of the current situation of reading and writing teaching and learning in the middle and upper grades of the school,i find out the problems and summarize the "Read-write integration" teaching by sorting out the relevant literature.I analyzed the feasibility of using it in Chinese language teaching by comparing the pre-test,post-test and the changes in students’ classroom performance and homework,and proposed some constructive suggestions from the school level,classroom teaching level and reading resources level.
