Study On The Armory Moved To Qian During The Anti-japanese War(1937-1945)

After the Russo-Japanese War,the Japanese army gradually launched armed invasion of China for many times,wantonly expansion in The Territory of China,its Wolf ambition was gradually perceived by people of insight in China.Under the threat of subjugation,China set off a wave of anti-japanese upsurge,promoting the Nationalist government and all parties to negotiate,jointly formulate a new national defense industry plan.After the war broke out,the Nationalist government made a series of preparations for the war,among which the most eye-catching was the industrial relocation known as the "Eastern Dunkirk Evacuation".The defense industry was among the first to be moved in order to ensure a sufficient supply of weapons and ammunition for the war against Japan.The text consists of six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.Starting from the author’s research background and historical materials,guizhou is taken as the specific research area to explain the significance and research value of the main topic.It also reviews and summarizes the research status,hot issues and shortcomings of ordnance enterprises in academia since the outbreak of Anti-Japanese War.The second chapter summarizes the situation of the Anti-Japanese War and the location of Guizhou.First of all,it analyzes the necessity of domestic industrial relocation,and briefly combs the national government’s response policies.Secondly,the paper compares the advantages and disadvantages of Guizhou as a place for the relocation of munitions factories in detail from the aspects of geographical conditions,political security,land and water transportation environment,infrastructure and so on.Chapter three reviews the preparation process before the relocation of the Arsenal.This paper traces the relationship between the reform of the department of Arms Engineering and the background of The Times,summarizes and analyzes the relocation measures of the department of Arms Engineering: hierarchical command,changing the name,setting up the transfer office and delaying the relocation.The paper also analyzes and evaluates the relocation measures of the department of Arms Industry based on the relocation path and completion effect of the four ordnance factories in Guizhou.The fourth chapter discusses the preparation and construction of the Arsenal.Firstly,the reasons why the arsenals chose to move to Tongzi zunyi and Guiyang were analyzed.Secondly,it discusses how to solve the problem of materials,power and electric power needed in production and develop production continuously under the condition of material shortage.This paper makes statistics of the staff and entourage of the Arsenal again,and reveals the specific role of the welfare system of the Arsenal in terms of their actual needs of life,entertainment and education.The fifth chapter is to further decipher the internal operation of the ordnance factory by taking the 53 rd factory as a typical case.Several key problems in the operation of armory factory are described,including the tree-like management structure with factory director as the core,strict physical and mental examination and recruitment,financial system of non-market operation and transfer of product acceptance.Secondly,based on the above organizational structure as a reference,detailed production conditions under different division of labor of each Arsenal.The sixth chapter lists the contribution of qianqian Armaments Factory to the victory of the Anti-Japanese War.From the perspective of industrial modernization and social change,the paper analyzes the influence of historical events on guizhou under such a special background as the moving of munitions factories to Guizhou,and also investigates the development of the factories left after the war and the destructive effect on the local area after the relocation.The conclusion points out that with the implementation of a new round of western development strategy and the acceleration of industrial structure upgrading in the east,Guizhou is facing new historical opportunities in undertaking industrial transfer.It is suggested that we should actively undertake industrial transfer and enhance the attraction of Guizhou as a place of production transfer in order to restore the wartime glory.
