Xuzhou,as the hometown of Liu Bang,has an important historical position,coupled with the superior terrain of the thoroughfare of the five provinces,thus the prosperous development of Han culture appeared,and also left a wealth of musical cultural products.The political and economic opening of the Han Dynasty promoted the development of musical culture,and the burial system was also changed to better preserve the wooden tombs of the early Western Han Dynasty to stone tombs of the Eastern Han Dynasty.Han stone sculpture is the product of the art and culture of the Han Dynasty.It filled the gap of handed down literature,and recorded the performance scenes of music and dance more than 2,000 years ago with the sword as the pen.It has important academic value,and provides a clear physical reference for the research of later generations.Han stone sculptures vividly depict the musical and cultural life of Han people and embody their aesthetic ideas and spiritual beliefs.This paper uses interdisciplinary research methods to explore the music and dance in the Han Dynasty stone sculptures in Xuzhou from multiple perspectives,such as “music philology”“music history”“music archaeology”and “music iconography”.This paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter,introduction.The purpose and significance of this topic are expounded,and the existing domestic research results are classified and analyzed,and the research methods used in this paper are expounded.The second chapter,the discovery of Han Dynasty stone in Xuzhou.The first part takes time as the axis to sort out the historical context of Xuzhou Han stone sculptures in literature.The second part is on the basis of modern archaeology,the excavation and distribution of Han sculpture stone in Xuzhou area are stated,to pave the way for the following.The third chapter,Xuzhou Han stone music and dance opera image.This paper classifies and studies the musical and dance plays in the Han Dynasty paintings and stones,from three aspects of instrumental music,music and dance and subject types.In the first part,the form of musical instrument and the organization of band in the stone will be mutually verified and discussed with the use of music in the handed down literature,so as to explore the emergence,development and evolution of musical instrument in the Han Dynasty.The second part,taking Jiangu dance and Changxiu dance as examples,discusses the music and dance in Han Dynasty stone sculptures from the aspects of dance movements and performance forms.The third part,based on the different themes of the music and dance operas in Xuzhou Han painting stones,was divided into four categories:faeries and animals,dining dishes,traveling by cars and horses and communicating with the Hu people.Through the changes of themes and places,the function and characteristics of the music and dance operas were explored.The fourth chapter,the function of music and dance.The interpretation of music and dance in the Han Dynasty was not only used to worship God,but also often used for Han people’s entertainment and entertainment.Including the significance of music and dance to the Han Dynasty society and cultural life.The fifth chapter,the cultural characteristics of music and dance pictures in Han Dynasty stone sculptures.The picture of music and dance in the Han Dynasty reflects the retention of Chu culture and the influence of Taoism.With the opening of the Silk Road,the music of the Western regions was introduced to the Central Plains,and the communication between Chinese and Western cultures reached its peak.
