Research On Illustration Design Based On The Expression Of Rock Color Painting Style

Rock color painting has a long history and was introduced to Japan from China during the Tang Dynasty.In the 1990 s,artists Hu Mingzhe and Wang Xiongfei,who returned from studying in Japan,proposed the concept of "rock color painting",which gradually deepened their understanding of rock color painting art.Meanwhile,due to the widespread use and vigorous development of digital technology,illustration design has shown strong vitality in many creative industries.With the continuous exchange and integration of culture and art,the outstanding visual expression and cultural heritage of rock color paintings are deeply welcomed and recognized by numerous illustration designers and enthusiasts,and the combination of the two has become a trend.However,the public know little about rock color painting,and there are still significant problems in the development,application and dissemination of rock color painting.The survey found that the rock color painting style illustration design is insufficient in practice and research,and there are relatively few cases of combining the two.This article takes the illustration design of rock color painting style as the research object,in order to explore the innovative development path of traditional painting expression in the field of art design.Based on the relevant national policy of carrying out the inheritance and development of China’s excellent traditional culture,this paper gives the traditional culture a new era meaning and modern form of expression by organically combining the rock color painting style and illustration design,so as to respond to the call of national cultural self-confidence.Therefore,the research of this paper applies the Transdisciplinarity method,Introducing the field of art research represented by rock color paintings into the field of artistic design represented by illustration design.The research objective of this article is to explore the application of the artistic expression style of traditional rock color painting in the field of modern illustration design.The full text is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which summarizes the background of the paper’s topic selection and the current research status at home and abroad;The second part clarifies the basic overview of rock color painting and illustration design,as well as the presentation of language forms in rock color painting;The third part clarifies the relevant theories of the application of rock color painting style in illustration design,focusing on analyzing the performance advantages of rock color painting style in illustration design;The fourth part delves into the design principles,ideas,and methods of rock color illustration design;The fifth part elucidates and presents the results of the application of rock color painting style in illustration design.In this creation,the author chose the theme of the 24 solar terms,which is also a traditional Chinese culture,and used the main image of an owl to run through it,in order to practice the illustration design represented by rock color painting style.Finally,summarize and prospect the research on the topic of this paper.The author draws on the research on the application of rock color painting style in illustration design,hoping that the public can discover more different aesthetic methods,broaden the combination of artistic styles in illustration design,enrich the creative expression of illustration design,and fully appreciate the magnificent visual feast brought by rock color painting style to illustration design,generate spiritual resonance,and bring joy,It also provides theoretical and practical references for the field of Chinese illustration art and design.
