A capital is the seat of a country’s political center and a symbol of state power. Its architecture, shape and management often contain the value orientation and regime characteristics of a country’s politics, economy and culture. As the capital of Han Empire,Chang ’an City of Han Dynasty is a milestone in the study of ancient Chinese cities. Many senior scholars have conducted in-depth and systematic research on Chang ’an City of Han Dynasty. However,in previous studies, scholars mostly took the city wall as the boundary in terms of space and focused on the distribution of spatial facilities and organizational management mode inside or outside the city wall for special discussion and discussion. However, few scholars broke through the spatial barrier of the city wall and took the space inside and outside the city wall as a whole for an overall grasp. The research on the overflow of management space in Chang ’an City has not been paid much attention to.Therefore,in the study of Han Chang ’an City, there are problems such as one-sidedness in the research perspective and singleness in the research object.Based on the above problems, this paper,on the basis of sorting out the evolution of pre-Qin,Qin and Han capitals, focuses on the formation of the capital space of Han Chang ’an City, the capital management system of Han Chang ’an City, and the new management space formed after the spillover of management space during the development process and its significance. This paper finds out the characteristics and rules of the trans-wall management of Chang ’an City of Han Dynasty through the longitudinal and regional reference, focuses on the analysis of the trans-wall management mode of Chang ’an City of Han Dynasty in the aspect of capital management, and tries to analyze the reasons, characteristics and significance of this management mode. |
