| In 1940,Jiangxi Province established the first national university in the province,the National Chung Cheng University.In the special environment of the continuous spread of war,the national university established during the Anti Japanese War still hired many outstanding scholars to teach at the university.While adhering to teaching and academic research,they also carried out a series of social activities,enriching the lives of teachers themselves,including some social activities related to the anti Japanese war and national salvation,It also plays a guiding role for students.On the basis of collecting and organizing archival materials such as the directory of faculty members at National Chung Cheng University,as well as literature materials such as memoirs written by retired faculty members,newspapers,and material compilations,this article combines the perspective of group research and takes the teacher group at National Chung Cheng University from 1940 to 1945 as the research object.Combined with the social environment at that time,it analyzes the background,basic situation,and life of the teacher group at the university,To summarize the corresponding activity characteristics and social contributions of the faculty group at National Chung Cheng University during this period.The article is divided into four parts: The first part analyzes the reasons for the formation of the school’s teacher group from two aspects: the needs of the school’s development and the choice of teachers themselves.After the establishment of National Chung Cheng University,the school needs to hire teachers.At the same time,under the influence of government policies,teaching environment,"education to save the country" ideology and treatment issues,teachers choose to teach at this school;The second part analyzes and summarizes the quantity and structure of the teacher group,summarizes the characteristics of the teacher group,and analyzes the reasons;The third part is a description of the life of the school teacher group,including teaching activities,academic activities,and social activities,and further summarizes the characteristics of the teacher group activities;The final part analyzes the contributions made by the school teacher community during the Anti Japanese War in three aspects: talent cultivation,local educational and cultural development,and student behavior.In short,through the study of the faculty group of National Chung Cheng University,not only can we deepen our understanding of National Chung Cheng University,but it is also of great significance for further improving the research on the faculty group of a specific university. |
