Research On Political Situation Between Hong Kuo And Gaoxiao Dynasty In The Southern Song Dynasty

Hong Kuo(1117-1142),courtesy name jing Bo,a native of Poyang in Song Raozhou,was an official worshipping prime minister in Song Xiaozong period.Hong Kuo ’s official career experienced several ups and downs under the influence of the political environment of the two dynasties.His career experience well reflected the bureaucratic ecology and political situation in the early Southern Song Dynasty.(1)The autocratic system of Qin Hui in Shaoxing period of Emperor Gaozong.After Hong Kuo became an official,it was during the establishment of Qin Hui ’s autocratic system.Qin Hui used the negotiation system as political capital to establish a centralized rule with Song Gaozong,and the party was the same.Because of his father Hong Hao ’s disobedience to Qin Hui,he was pushed out and suppressed until he was removed from office.Under this system,officials struggled with each other.The scholars became conservative out of fear of disaster.A large number of dismissals led to a serious shortage of officials at the county level,highlighting the boundary problem of Qin Hui ’s autocratic system.(2)Gao Xiao replacement period war and the alternation of the two factions.During the period of the invasion of Hailing and the Northern Expedition of Longxing,the relationship between the Song and Jin Dynasties was constantly changing,and the situation of war and the alternation of the two factions in power also appeared in the political situation of the DPRK and.Hong Kuo ’s political ideas of financial ability and internal affairs recuperation in the war between Song and Jin Dynasties were recognized by Emperor Xiaozong and promoted step by step to return to the central government.Although Hong Kuo was briefly caught in the factional struggle,he always maintained an attitude away from the war and factions,and his political position tended to be conservative.(3)The Qianchun system under the rule of Xiaozong.After the Longxing Heyi,the political focus of the Southern Song Dynasty shifted to the internal affairs route.Emperor Xiaozong adjusted the Qin Hui ’s autocratic system and used new people boldly.Through his own political talents and moral character,Hong Kuo gained the support of Emperor Xiaozong and worshiped the prime minister.However,he was subject to many difficulties under the Qianchun system,and he left the central government in March.In general,Hong Kuo ’s political career is a good perspective to explore the political environment of Gaozong and Xiaozong in the Southern Song Dynasty.Although he was not the core figure in the bureaucratic system of Gao and Xiao dynasties,he paid attention to pragmatism and compassion for the people.At the same time,he also had the ability of literature and officials,showing the political personality of both rule of virtue and capable officials.He also adhered to good political ethics in the face of party problems in his career,which was the representative and concentrated expression of some officials in the Southern Song Dynasty.
