The Research Of Drum Music In Pulandian District Of Dalian In Funeral Ceremony

Pulandian drum music is a traditional folk instrumental performance form in the Pulandian district,with a distinct musical style.This article describes the four aspects of the local natural environment,music itself,drum music forms in funeral ceremonies,and drum music functions in funeral ceremonies,analyzing the performance style and musical characteristics of the drum music in Pulandian,and thus reflecting the local cultural connotations of Pulandian drum music.This article first introduces the local history and geographical environment of Pulandian.The local natural environment determines the lifestyle and source of economic income of the local people,which also determines the formation of Pulandian culture.Pulandian has a rich cultural background,including northern regional culture,agricultural culture,Confucianism,religious culture,etc.The artistic forms created by local folk artists are influenced by local culture,and the musical style of the Pulandian drum music is also influenced by local culture.These cultures are also the foundation for the formation of cultural connotations in drum music.The third chapter of this article mainly introduces the musical essence of the Pulandian drum music.The author describes the characteristics of drum music style,the history of drum music,the current situation and development of drum music.Pulandian drumming evolved from Shandong drumming and blowing music,with the characteristics of Shandong drumming and blowing music.The current Pulandian drum music is influenced by local traditional music,absorbing music melodies such as northern folk songs,ethnic minority music,and folk songs,forming a unique musical style.The modern Pulandian drum music has absorbed the styles of popular and Western music,and still spreads in a lively form among the people.The fourth chapter of this paper,based on field research,mainly describes the form and performance process of Pulandian drum music in the funeral ceremony.Drum musicians will adjust the form of drum music according to different funeral ceremonies to align with the ritual process.The fifth chapter of this article mainly analyzes the two functions of Prandian drum music in funeral ceremonies.Pulandian drum music in the funeral ceremony field reflects four ritual functions,including connection function,publicity function,emotional rendering function,and aesthetic function,which make the funeral ceremony more complete.In the cultural context,drum music has a cultural carrier function,carrying three cultural ideas:Confucianism,the integration of the three religions,and the return of fallen leaves to their roots.This indicates that the Pulandian drum music in the funeral ceremony carries the traditional concepts of funeral culture in the local cultural ideology.Through field research,this paper makes an in-depth study of Pulandian drum music.Appreciate and understand the cultural meaning of the drum music in Pulandian under the local cultural background,and experience the unique cultural charm of the drum music.
