Born in the early 1960 s,the Manchu New Town Opera is one of the most distinctive local operas and the only one of its kind in China.Manchu New Town Opera was listed as a provincial intangible cultural heritage in 2009.Its voice is based on the popular Buyu folk rap "Octagonal drum" Qu music,and constantly absorb Manchu folk songs,Han army Qi Xiang Taiping drum music and Qing palace dance music gradually developed.After entering the 21 st century,in the general decline of local operas across the country,Manchu New Town Opera,as the only Manchu opera,stubbornly survived,and continued to absorb Manchu culture,and continued to stage excellent works with minority characteristics and in line with the spirit of The Times.The singing music in the artistic features of the Manchu New Town Opera is integrated into the tone of the Manchu,and the original qupai of the "Octagonal drum" is integrated into the singing of the Manchu New Town Opera to complete the division of male and female voices.The Manchu New Town Opera music is rich and changeable,not only leisurely,graceful,but also sonorous.The lyrics are concise and vivid,attractive,extremely infectious and shocking.The performance of the Manchu New Town Opera focuses on the performance of the dancing body,its movements are graceful,rigid and soft,and can start from the characters,focusing on the characterization of the characters,so as to achieve the artistic realm of "personalization and complete beautification of the harmonious unity of the role".In order to master the reality and the latest trends of the Manchu New Town Opera,the author went to Songyuan City,Jilin Province,Fuyu City,Jilin Province,and made several field trips lasting two years.In the course of writing this article,The author obtained the Protection and Inheritance Center of Manchu New Town Opera,Songyuan Archives Bureau,Songyuan Archives Bureau of Ningjiang District,Fuyu County Archives Bureau,Honghao Research Association,Boduna Cultural Research Association,Mr.Chen Xiqiang,the famous Manchu New Town Opera performing artist,Mr.Yang Zongyu,the director of Manchu New Town Opera Inheritance and Protection Center,Mr.Liu Haibo,the famous director of Manchu New Town Opera,and the famous Manchu New Town Opera Biography With the help and support of Mr.Zhang Lairen,the undertaker,a large number of research materials have been provided for the writing of this paper.In addition to field investigation,the author also systematically collected and sorted out musical data related to Manchu New Town Opera.A complete and comprehensive collection of Manchu culture,Manchu New Town Opera,Songyuan City Manchu New Town Opera inheritance and protection center related information is the basis and foundation of this paper.Based on the representation of Manchu New Town Opera in Northeast operas,this paper aims to analyze the development predicament and outlet of Northeast ethnic operas by studying the survival,protection and inheritance status of Manchu New Town Opera.
