Study On Film Adaptation Of The Chinese Little Theater Comedies

It’s been 40 years since 1982’s Absolute Signal.Chinese little theatre drama is gradually becoming commercialized.The Chinese theater market has opted for more popular "little theater" Comedies.The adaptation of China’s "little theater" comedy films conforms to the economic situation and the transformation of public aesthetics and has been developing rapidly in recent years.This paper is based on Chinese social culture and technological development and takes Chinese "little theater" comedies and their adapted films as the research object.This paper analyzes the narrative differences and comic presentation differences of "little theater" comedies after film adaptation,and explores its textual connotation and adaptation significance.Based on film narratology,this study first describes the development status of the film adaptation of China’s "little theater" Comedies and explores the reasons for its film adaptation.This paper explores the logic of Chinese "little theater" comedy films adaptation from both stage presentation and screen presentation.On the one hand,the article explores the connotations of film adaptation in terms of the narrative characters,time and space,and plot settings of playwriting.On the other hand,it analyses the logic of cinematic narrative and the principles of cinematic narrative in the adaptation of Chinese "little theater" comedies,based on the hypothesis of cinema,the presentation of cinematic spectacle and the experience of cinematic emotion.Finally,the value of film adaptations of Chinese "small theatre" comedy is analysed,and the development path of film adaptations of Chinese "small theatre" comedy is further explored.Through the research and analysis of this paper,it is concluded that: First,The development of film adaptations of Chinese "little theater" comedies is an inevitable trend based on the current context and aesthetic changes of the public.Second,the films adapted from Chinese "little theater" comedies have created diverse comic characters and developed conflicts in a flexible narrative time and space,which have enhanced the comic expression of the narrative text while completing the construction of the narrative plot and conveying the connotation.Thirdly,Chinese "small theatre" comedy adaptations follow the logic of cinematographic narrative,and through a cinematic hypothetical and spectacle-based narrative,they complete the expression of the film text,allowing the audience to experience the comic connotations in a "carnivalised" world of images.Fourthly,Chinese "small theatre" comedy adaptations and Chinese comedy films are particularly unique in their artistic value,.to make its long-term development.
