| According to the new Compulsory Education Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition)issued by the Ministry of Education in 2022,English is characterized by both "instrumental" and "humanistic" features,that is,English learning is not only a language learning,but also a comprehensive quality improvement.A new concept of English curriculum reform in the new era is the "unit" integrative teaching.Different from the traditional English teaching method of block and isolated class hours,unit teaching requires us to carry out teaching design,teaching implementation and teaching evaluation with a brand new teaching strategy that takes unit theme as the core and takes the whole unit as the unit.At the same time,in order to achieve the teaching goal of English curriculum standard of compulsory education,the unit teaching goal should be more concrete,comprehensive and valuable.Thus,through the integrated,reconstructed and integrated unit teaching strategy from the perspective of key competences,students can not only build up a complete unit knowledge system to improve their listening,reading,writing and speaking abilities,but also develop their comprehensive learning ability better.Only this way can teachers return English teaching to the essence and original intention of human’s overall development,so as to enable their students to establish a positive emotional attitude and develop their thinking quality.This paper is carried out according to the research idea of "why-what-how".On the basis of analyzing the existing thesis and literature,this study adopts the methods of interview,observation and case study to reconstruct and design the units in the first volume of the sixth grade of the People’s Education Press Primary School English,and summarizes the teaching experience of the units in class.It provides strategies and references for the overall teaching and practice of English units in primary schools.This paper is divided into six parts:In the introduction,this paper introduces the research reasons related to the research,and then introduces the research value and significance of this study.The thesis and literature review part of the introduction summarizes and comments the relevant researches at home and abroad.In the definition of the concept,key competencies,unit integrative teaching,teaching strategies and so on are explained and analyzed.The last part of the introduction is about how to achieve the research purpose.The first part is an overview of unit integrative teaching strategies of primary school English based on key competencies.It makes a detailed analysis of the theory,concept and basic principles of the unit integrative teaching,and clarifies the connotation,principles and advantages of the unit integrative teaching of primary school English units.The second part is the overall teaching design strategy of primary school English unit from the perspective of key competencies.The first part is the goal design directed at the key competencies,including the overall teaching goal of the unit and the progressive class goal.The overall goal of educating students with stronger correlation between each unit and each class is designed with the guidance of key competencies.The setting of the goal should take into account language ability,cultural awareness,thinking quality and learning ability.The second point is the integration design of elementary school English unit content pointing to the unit theme,in-depth analysis of the main and difficult points of the textbook to integrate the theme,topic,block content,text textbook and so on.The third point is to promote the integration of teaching,learning and evaluation and design the core task of the integration of teaching,learning and evaluation in the process of unit overall teaching implementation.The fourth point is the design of classroom activities aimed at improving comprehensive language ability,which plays an important role stage,teachers teach English step by step according to their own preparation before class,which is the focus of the whole unit teaching and the difficulty of the research.The implementation strategies include: unit guidance,classroom guidance,classroom teaching,implementation of established goals,task grouping,cooperative learning,assignment,etc.The fourth part is the overall teaching evaluation strategy of primary school English based on key competencies.It mainly uses the multiple evaluation strategy of primary English unit to change the previous evaluation method of each unit.The fifth part is the application of unit integrative teaching strategies of primary school English based on key competencies.The author takes a unit of PEP as an example to carry out the pre-class teaching design.The sixth part is the problems and reflections on the implementation of unit integrative teaching strategies of primary school English based on key competencies.This chapter mainly explains the relevant problems and unsolved problems in the offline implementation of unit teaching in primary school English. |
