national education system and human resource development,vocational education is an important way to cultivate diversified talents,pass on technical skills,and promote employment and entrepreneurship.However,for a long time,because secondary vocational students are not like ordinary high school students who take the entrance examination route,they are usually regarded as“problematic students” with poor learning and conduct,and their social evaluation is low,and parents’ expectation and support for secondary vocational students is also low.Social prejudice makes vocational education a prominent problem of non-recognition and stigmatization.Secondary school students are in early adolescence or puberty,with rapid physical and psychological development,especially the developmental pressure of self-identity formation is great,and they are in the stage of easy and high incidence of psychological problems.Due to negative social evaluation and poor parenting style,the group of secondary school students is more prone to depressive emotional problems.With the newly revised Law of the People’s Republic of China on Vocational Education coming into force on May 1,2022,vocational education has gradually become a focal issue of concern for all sectors of society,and the mental health of secondary vocational and technical school students has become a real problem that needs to be addressed.Therefore,it is important to explore the path to change the perception of students,parents and even the public about vocational education to promote the sound development of vocational students.It has been shown that apprehending social support and psychological inflexibility play effective preventive roles for depression.In this study,based on exploring the relationship between negative parenting style,perceptual social support,psychological inflexibility and depression development among vocational students and the four variables,we focused on the role and mechanism of increasing perceptual social support and improving psychological inflexibility on reducing depression level of secondary school students in order to provide theoretical support and empirical evidence for promoting the sound development of vocational students and improving the science of vocational education.In this study,410 freshmen in a secondary vocational school in Chongqing were selected as the research object,and used s-EMBU-C,Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS),Acceptance and Action Questionnaire(AAQ-II),Cognitive Fusion Questionnaire(CFQ)and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)as the measuring tool to carry out the investigation and intervention research.First of all,to explore the influence and mechanism of negative parenting styles,perceived social support and psychological inflexibility on the depression level of secondary vocational school students.Secondly,based on the acceptance commitment therapy and psychological flexibility hexagonal model,six group counseling interventions were carried out in the intervention group in order to reduce the depression level.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The negative parenting styles of secondary vocational school students are medium and upper level,the comprehension social support ability is medium,the psychological rigidity and depression are medium and upper level.(2)The depression level of secondary vocational school girls was significantly higher than that of secondary vocational school boys,the negative parental rearing patterns of urban secondary vocational school students were significantly higher than those of rural secondary vocational school students,and the degree of psychological rigidity of vocational school students in divorced families was significantly higher than that of non-divorced vocational students.The negative parenting styles and perceived social support of only-child secondary vocational school students were significantly higher than those of non-only-child secondary vocational school students,and the negative parental rearing patterns,psychological inflexibility and depression level of left-behind secondary vocational school students were significantly higher than those of non-left-behind secondary vocational school students,and the perceived social support ability of left-behind secondary vocational students was significantly lower than that of non-left-behind secondary vocational school students.(3)There was a significant correlation between negative parenting styles,perceived social support,psychological rigidity and depression of secondary vocational school students.There was a significant negative correlation between negative parental rearing patterns and perceived social support,and a significant positive correlation between negative parenting styles and psychological inflexibility and depression of secondary vocational school students.There was a significant negative correlation between perceived social support and psychological inflexibility and depression of secondary vocational school students,and a significant positive correlation between psychological inflexibility and depression of secondary vocational school students.(4)Perceived social support plays an intermediary role between negative parenting styles and depression of secondary vocational school students,psychological inflexibility plays an intermediary role between negative parenting styles and depression of secondary vocational school students,and perceived social support and psychological inflexibility plays a chain intermediary role between negative parenting styles and depression of secondary vocational school students.(5)Group counseling based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy(ACT)and psychological flexible hexagonal model can effectively improve the ability of secondary vocational school students to understand social support,improve the degree of
