| Deep learning is an important part in learning scientific theory.With the advent of information society and the continuous development of learning science,shallow learning in traditional middle school classroom teaching has been criticized,and deep learning has become one of the goals in middle school classroom teaching.Besides,as an important part of learning ability,autonomous learning ability plays a vital role in the process of English learning.According to General Senior High School English Curriculum Standards(2020),teachers should help students learn how to choose,criticize and monitor themselves in English learning,and cultivate students’ autonomous learning ability.Students with high autonomous learning ability can actively monitor and adjust their own learning,flexibly use learning strategies and learning resources,and reasonably evaluate learning results driven by strong learning motivation.Discussing the relationship of deep learning,Learning Plan and autonomous learning ability,this paper carries out this research on the basis of constructivism,humanism and autonomous learning theory.In light of this,this thesis sets out to explore the effect of Learning Plan based on deep learning on high school students’ learner autonomy.To get answers,a three-month teaching experiment will be conducted in order to answer the following two questions: 1)What is the current status of students’ English autonomous learning ability? 2)What are the impacts of the implementation of Deep Learning-based Learning Plan on the participants’ English autonomous learning ability?To answer the above two questions,100 students from two parallel classes of Class A and Class B of Senior 2 in a senior high school in Fujian were selected as the participants in Experiment Class(EC)and Control Class(CC)respectively for a three-month teaching experiment.This study adopted an experimental approach,combing questionnaires,classroom observation and interview.And the whole research was divided into three stages.The questionnaire and interview showed that there was no significant difference in English autonomous learning ability between the two classes before experiment.In the experimental implementation stage,EC adopted Learning Plan based on deep learning in English teaching,while CC used the traditional teaching method.In the post-experiment stage,students in two classes participated in the post-questionnaire.SPSS 26.0 was adopted to analyze the results of questionnaires by using independent samples T-test and paired samples T-test.Additionally,six students from EC and CC were respectively selected for interview to investigate student’s ability of using Learning Plan and the changes of autonomous learning ability.And students’ interview recording was subsequently transferred into words for further analysis.Finally,in the process,the author tracks the experimental process through the research method of classroom observation.Through the analysis of the research results,this study draws a conclusion.To a certain extent,Learning Plan can improve students’ autonomous learning ability,replace the traditional teacher-centered education model and enable students to develop.In addition,the Learning Plan has a great effect on the ability of self-monitoring and evaluating.But the effect on the ability of setting goals is less obvious.In general,the use of Learning Plan based on deep learning has certain implications for English teaching.Based on the above research results,the author puts forward some specific suggestions for English teaching practice.This study has achieved the expected goal,but it also has some shortcomings,which are shown in short experimental period and limited experimental sample size.Future studies can expand the sample size and continuously improve the Learning Plan,to have more exploration on the study of students’ autonomous English learning ability.For teachers,on the one hand,teachers need to constantly adjust and improve their Learning Plan according to the actual situation of students;On the other hand,teachers need to constantly improve their professional level and lay a solid foundation for designing Learning Plan. |
