In the 80 s of the 20 th century,the "first exhibition of modern calligraphy" appeared for more than 30 years,which attracted the attention of many researchers.Their research results are worth learning from.As a first-time exhibitor,Mr.Gu Gan advocated that "it should be natural for modern people to create modern calligraphy,art should keep pace with the times,and artists should input the available knowledge of ancient and modern China and foreign into their own information database,rearrange and recombine various information,and reconstruct a carrier that coincides with our new concept-modern calligraphy." It was not until 2002 that he proposed the concept of Chinese character art.This paper takes the study of Chinese character ink as the fulcrum,and the process of transformation of ancient dry modern calligraphy to Chinese character ink as the research object.This paper analyzes the reasons for the emergence and development of modern calligraphy and the transition to the art of Chinese characters,as well as the influence of Chinese character ink on contemporary art.This paper is divided into four chapters to study,the first chapter mainly focuses on the analysis of the current achievements of Chinese character ink;Chapter 2: An Exploration of the Ancient Dry Chinese Character Ink Periodization;The third chapter focuses on the characteristics of ink art of ancient dry Chinese characters.Chapter 4 analyzes the influence of ancient Chinese character ink on modern and contemporary art.
