Research On Kangkeqing’s Childcare Thought And Practice

Kang Keqing was a great proletarian revolutionist,an outstanding leader of women’s liberation movement,and a pioneer and founder of the Communist Party of China’s child care cause.She worked in the nursery for several decades,and made great contributions to the development of the Communist Party of China’s childcare cause.Kang Keqing grew up in the Chinese revolution.She always insisted on using Marxist theory to guide the practice of childcare,and formed childcare thought in line with China’s national conditions.This article mainly elaborated Kang Keqing’s childcare thought from four aspects.Firstly,through the analysis of the causes of Kangkeqing’s thought of child care,it is found that the Chinese traditional thought of loving children and education is the historical source of Kangkeqing’s thought of child care;Secondly,it systematically sorts out and summarizes the contents of Kang Keqing’s childcare thought,including childcare view,child rights view and child education view.Furthermore,the author sums up the main practice activities of Kangkeqing Childcare: establishing the Second Childcare Hospital of Yan’an;promoting the work of maternal and infant health;giving voice to protect children in the world;organizing the "South-to-North Infant Diversion".Finally,through the objective evaluation of Kang Keqing’s childcare thought,it is concluded that her childcare thought is the result of Marxist childcare thought in China and has important guiding significance for the development of childcare in China in the new era.
