Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD)is a common psychological disorder in children,which can lead to distraction,excessive activity,and irritability.In recent years,the incidence rate of ADHD among children has increased year by year,from 3.7% in 1980-1989 to 6.4% in 2010-2019,indicating that the society lacks correct understanding of ADHD and children.In view of this,the purpose of studying the intervention effect of cognitive behavioral therapy on ADHD children is to help them correct cognitive biases and behavioral problems,and to call for social attention to ADHD children.In this study,child A with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in A hospital was selected as the object.Through the pre-process of case receiving,needs assessment,intervention design and other procedures of child A,the intervention processes such as surface misconceptions,correcting intermediate beliefs and core beliefs,strengthening cognition and case closing were tested,and the evaluation of interview,scale and number elimination,and standard deviation of single case experiment were conducted.To measure the effect of intervention,it was concluded that the application of cognitive behavioral therapy improved child A’s interpersonal relationship,academic performance,emotional state and attention level to A certain extent,but could not completely eliminate child A’s ADHD symptoms.The study concluded that cognitive behavioral therapy has a positive effect on the improvement of cognition and behavior in children with ADHD.The attention,interpersonal relationships,mood,and behavior of ADHD children improved significantly after the intervention based on cognitive behavioral therapy.Under the above positive effects,the therapies for cognitive and behavioral problems of ADHD children are further enriched,accelerating the process of ADHD children’s return to society.
