Economic growth has pushed China into a stage of high-quality development,the people’s living standards have improved,the market economy has operated smoothly,and spiritual and cultural consumption represented by cultural,educational and entertainment consumption has become consumption-oriented.At the same time,education has entered the stage of mass development,and with the "life of art" and "the aestheticization of daily life",art education with the direct purpose of improving artistic accomplishment and aesthetic level has been popularized.Within the national education system,art education resources are limited and there is an imbalance in distribution,which cannot fully meet the growing needs of the people for art education,and it has become an inevitable choice to seek art education resources from the social art education market outside the system.In addition to some institutions within the public cultural service system,the main body of social art education markets is more social art education and training institutions,especially in urban spaces,so the act of obtaining social art education resources is often reflected in the form of cultural consumption.Starting from the perspective of cultural consumption,this paper integrates multiple perspectives such as sociology and cultural geography to explore the profound changes in the field of social art education under the background of the era of "double reduction" policy and national aesthetic education.Since art education has a far-reaching impact on human development,and social art education is still in the process of transformation and development,it is of great significance to explore its future development path for the improvement of individual and national literacy.Based on data analysis,field research and case analysis,the article grasps the actual situation of the overall scale,type structure,spatial structure and social impact of the art education market in Shanghai,and then deduces the situation in China;starting from the interrelationship between supply,demand and public management,explores the current situation of the development of social art education and summarizes its main characteristics;and judges the future development trend of art education in the social environment affected by composite factors such as the "double reduction" policy,the impact of the epidemic and the digital transformation of culture.Then analyze and summarize the issues at this stage and make relevant recommendations.The article mainly includes five parts: First,it explains the research background,relevant research results and research methods at home and abroad,and clarifies the main concepts such as "aesthetic education" and "art education".Secondly,it expounds the social art education as cultural consumption,discusses the relationship between social art education and national art education,clarifies the main functions,basic structures and subdivision types of social art education,and analyzes the operation mechanism of social art education from the perspective of "field" theory.Third,according to the statistical data,the market situation of social art education in Shanghai is described,including the type structure and spatial structure,and the social impact,main challenges and prominent contradictions faced by social art education are summarized.Finally,this paper discusses the practical logic of the transformation and development of social art education,clarifies its fundamental compliance,grasps new characteristics and new trends,explores the construction of a benign development ecology,and realizes the long-term and stable development of social art education.Social art education is an indispensable topic for implementing the fundamental task of the cultivation of people,building an education system for the comprehensive cultivation of morality,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and labor,and promoting the fairness and quality improvement of education;social art education,as cultural consumption,is one of the important supports for adhering to the supremacy of the people,meeting the spiritual and cultural needs of the people and the needs of a better life,and promoting the high-quality development of the whole society.The social art education market bears irreplaceable social functions,but there are also many drawbacks.Under the conditions of the new era,social art education urgently needs to be transformed and developed,and it is of non-negligible significance to solve the contradiction between realizing the good operation of the social art education market and meeting the growing needs of the people for art education.
