A Study On Female Writing In Ye Guangqin’s Novels

Since the 20 th century,female writers have opened up a prosperous female literature garden with self-conscious female consciousness.Among them,Manchu female writer Ye Guangqin has injected fresh vitality into contemporary female literature with unique female writing.Throughout Ye Guangqin’s creation in various periods,she always starts from her own life experience,observes women’s living situation from a unique female perspective,and actively considers the construction of women’s subject identity.This paper takes Ye Guangqin’s novels as the research object,under the guidance of feminist theory and narratology theory,studies the female writing of Ye Guangqin’s novels from three aspects: theme expression,narrative strategy and motivation,and excavates the practical significance of the female writing of Ye Guangqin’s novels.The introduction introduces Ye Guangqin’s creation and female writing,expounds the Hélène Cixous’ s theory of "female writing",defines the concept and connotation of "female writing",and combs Ye Guangqin’s related research.The first chapter discusses the theme expression of female writing in Ye Guangqin’s novels.Starting from the three types of female group images described by Ye Guangqin,which are constructed by male power,difficult voice and new rise,this paper analyzes the writer’s construction of female speech subject.At the same time,focusing on the diluted and weakened male images in novels,this paper analyzes Ye Guangqin’s deconstruction of male centered status.In addition,through the analysis of the gender theme in novels,this paper analyzes Ye Guangqin’s thinking on gender relations.The second chapter analyzes the narrative strategies of female writing in Ye Guangqin’s novels.Yeguangqin takes the first person female perspective as the narrative perspective of her novels,which not only helps to fully express the female subject experience,but also helps to construct the female narrative authority.At the same time,Ye Guangqin combines the images of moon gate,Coptis chinensis and Magnolia officinalis with women’s emotional experience and examination of men,which greatly enriches the connotation of female writing.In addition,Ye Guangqin deconstructed the male authority of the original drama and promoted the establishment of female subject identity through the parody of traditional Peking Opera.The third chapter explores the double motivation of female writing in Ye Guangqin’s novels.Female consciousness is the driving force of Ye Guangqin’s female writing.Through the investigation of Ye Guangqin’s life experience,this paper analyzes the influence of Ye Guangqin’s female consciousness on the female writing of novels from three aspects: sensibility,rationality and ideal.At the same time,the Manchu "respecting women" culture is another major motivation affecting Ye Guangqin’s female writing.The Manchu’s respect for women and the Manchu female tradition of running a family and power makes the female characters in Ye Guangqin’s works show unique authority and autonomy,which also contributes to the female writing with ethnic cultural characteristics in novels.On the basis of summarizing the full text,the conclusion analyzes the practical significance of female writing in Ye Guangqin’s novels,and puts forward a direction that Ye Guangqin’s novels can continue to study.
