Fengxiang woodblock prints are a representative regional branch of China’s New Year painting system and are among the first intangible cultural heritage in China.In the context of the digital age,woodblock prints,once an important vehicle for cultural transmission during the New Year period,have almost disappeared,replaced by an endless stream of electronic prints and fading spiritual beliefs.At present,Fengxiang’s woodblock prints face two main problems:firstly,the traditional paper versions of the prints are subject to varying degrees of damage in the process of dissemination;secondly,the lack of materials and the inheritance dilemma caused by the times.Therefore,there is an urgent need to preserve the inheritance,colour restoration and innovative design of Fengxiang woodblock prints through modern digitalisation in order to improve the influence of Fengxiang woodblock prints in the digital context.The main research and innovation points of this project are as follows: firstly,the analysis of the categories,colours,composition and patterns of Fengxiang woodblock prints,and the in-depth exploration of their artistic characteristics;secondly,the systematic summarisation and standardised collection of Fengxiang woodblock prints through high-definition scanning,adaptive threshold detection,standard colour value extraction and data augmentation,in response to the scarcity of existing resources and the difficulty of collecting them;and then,the deep learning.Then,through deep learning,the Cycle GAN algorithm in adversarial generative networks was used to train a network model specific to Fengxiang woodblock prints to achieve fast and accurate colouring of the woodblock prints and innovative design patterns;finally,the user requirements were analysed through AHP hierarchical analysis and the Fengxiang woodblock prints colour migration platform "Fengxiang Painting Language" was developed to complete the colour style migration.Based on the nesting of functions,the platform will add functions such as resource sharing,New Year’s Painting Mall and cultural creation development to realise the multi-faceted development of Fengxiang Woodblock New Year paintings.In the inheritance and protection of Fengxiang’s woodblock prints,this project combines the generation of a confrontation network with Fengxiang’s woodblock prints to realise the cyclical process of colouring and colour removal,thus exploring the laws of colouring in woodblock prints;in the promotion and introduction of the art of Fengxiang’s woodblock prints,this project makes the operation easy,the interface design beautiful and the project content practical by developing a platform for the migration of Fengxiang’s woodblock prints’ colour styles;in the In the practice and application of the art of Fengxiang woodblock printing,this project combines modern design methods with the colour style migration function to adapt woodblock printing to modern trends and to provide new ideas for similar research.
