Analysis And Application Of The Formal Language Of Qi Baishi's Grass And Insect Painting

This paper takes the grass and insect paintings of Qi Baishi,a modern Chinese painting master,as the research object,attempts to reveal how the nearly century-old man uses unique artistic language to elevate the art of grass and insect painting,and comments on the specific techniques and theories of Qi Baishi in the practice of grass and insect painting.And add the author’s practical application in the creation of grass and insect painting.Starting from this idea,this article is composed of four parts: the first part is the origin,development and the evolution of techniques in different periods of Qi Baishi’s grass and insect painting.The second part expounds its artistic characteristics,composition characteristics and other aspects.The third part is to sort out the artistic achievements and insect categories of the grass and insect paintings.The fourth part is the author’s practice,the conception,composition,object image and techniques of grass and insect painting expression.
