Abstract/Summary:
Attention is the orientation and concentration of mental activity to a certain object, which is an important part of mental activity. In many sports events, attention is an important psychological quality that affects athletes’ performance.tDCS has been widely concerned by researchers because of its advantages of non-invasive,low cost and easy operation. In the field of psychology,t DCS has been proved to regulate spatial attention.Mindfulness refers to conscious awareness.Mindfulness is an attitude of acceptance without judgment, which keeps attention on the internal and external experience of the moment.Numerous studies have proven that mindfulness can improve individual attention levels. In this study,60 athletes were selected as subjects.Transcranial direct current stimulation technique combined with mindfulness training.Using transcranial direct current stimulation technology combined with mindfulness training to improve athletes’ internal attention ability. The two intervention methods were compared to provide a more effective scheme for improving the attention of athletes,so as to explore the effects of transcranial direct current stimulation combined with mindfulness training on the efficiency of attention network and heart rate variability of athletes. This study explored the regulatory effect of tDCS combined with mindfulness training on the efficiency of attention network in athletes.A two-factor experimental design of 2(t DCS stimulus type: true stimulus,pseudo-stimulus)×2(mindfulness intervention: intervention group,non-intervention group)was adopted, and attention network efficiency scores were measured before and after the experiment.Three attention network efficiency scores(alert network efficiency, directed network efficiency and executive control network efficiency)were measured as the dependent variables of attention behavior index. The dependent variable of physiological indicators was heart rate variability(HRV)RMSSD indicator(defined as the root-mean-square difference between continuous R-R intervals).Transcranial direct current stimulation was performed in a single intervention mode. The anode stimulation was placed at F4,the cathode stimulation was placed at AF4,F2,F6 and FC4,the anode stimulation was placed at P4,and the cathode stimulation was placed at P6,CP4,P2 and PO4,and the stimulation was performed for 20 min and 2m A,respectively.Group intervention was conducted according to the mindfulness training content in the Mindfulness Training Manual for Athletes.Group mindfulness training was performed twice a week for 45 minutes for 8 weeks.Through mindfulness intervention and transcranial direct current stimulation intervention, athletes’ attention network was significantly improved under different intervention modes. In this study, the alertness network efficiency was not significantly improved before and after the intervention, while the directed network efficiency was significantly improved under the mindfulness training intervention, and the executive control network efficiency was significantly improved under the mindfulness intervention,t DCS true stimulus and combined intervention, and the combined intervention effect was better than the single intervention. From the perspective of physiological indicators of attention, the attention level of athletes in the attention task has been significantly improved under both mindfulness and transcranial direct current stimulation intervention, and the effect of mindfulness combined with transcranial direct current stimulation intervention is better.
