| Ancient bells are an important cultural heritage in China,with historical,cultural,artistic,scientific and technological research value,is a precious material material to understand the ancient society.Jin Dynasty Da ’an iron bell in Jingchuan is hanging in Pingliang City,Gansu Province jingchuan County Wangmu Gongshan top,gansu province provincial cultural relic protection units.It was cast in the third year of Jin Da ’an(1211).The bell body is vigorous,about 1.9 meters high,1.5 meters diameter,and weighs about 1,000 jin.The bell body is covered with inscriptions and patterns,and the overall shu Lang generous,known as "Gong Shan Xiao Zhong",is one of the "eight jing Zhou Scenery".Jingchuan,known as Jingzhou and Anding in ancient times,is the east gate of Gansu province,located in longdong area at the junction of Shaanxi and Gansu,with Liupanshan leading to the west and Jinghe leading to Xi ’an on the silk Road.Since ancient times,it has been the first important town of Chang’an in the west,and it is also a place for military strategists,ethnic integration,and administrative offices at all levels.Due to its unique geographical location,Jingchuan was influenced by Buddhist culture as early as the Sixteen Kingdoms Period.From the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Ming and Qing Dynasties,Jingchuan’s Buddhist culture flourished and developed continuously.During the Song and Jin dynasties,Jingchuan was first controlled by the Northern Song Dynasty and then by the Jin Dynasty after the Battle of Fuping(1130).The Jin people believed in Shamanism,but after the south,gradually sinicized and began to believe in Buddhism.The Jin Dynasty Da’an Iron Bell in Jingchuan is not only the material testimony of the inclusive cultural policy adopted when jin people ruled Jingchuan area,but also the performance of the Sinicization of Jin people,but also the historical evidence that the people in Jingchuan area were satisfied with the rule of Jin people and regarded jin as Zhengshuo.As a product of a specific historical background,it provides a clue for understanding the historical evolution,Buddhist culture and ethnic integration of Jingchuan area,and is also a small entry point to study the history of the Jin Dynasty.This paper takes jingchuan Da ’an Iron bell of Jin Dynasty as the clue to carry on the research,the main body is divided into three chapters.The first chapter describes the geographical location,historical evolution and religious culture of Jingchuan County where jinda ’an Iron Bell is located.The second chapter sorts out and interprets the basic information such as history,shape,pattern and inscriptions of jingchuan Da’an Iron bell.Jingchuan Da ’an Iron bell of jin Dynasty is an 8-melody deep wave mouth covered bucket Vatican bell.The bell body is covered with lotus petal patterns,casaya patterns,lotus patterns and inscriptions.From the shape to the decorative content and layout of the bell body,it has the common characteristics of the Jin Buddha bell.The third chapter analyzes the historical and cultural connotation and research value of jingchuan Da ’an Iron Bell based on historical facts and relevant data.It is considered that jingchuan Jinda ’an Iron bell has value in the study of jingchuan history,religion and ethnic fusion. |
