Research On The Custom Of Recognizing Relatives In Suining County Of Modern Hunan Province From The Perspective Of Social Network

In most villages in Suining County,Hunan Province,when villagers face parenting difficulties,choosing to identify a close relative for their children is still one of the effective strategies for people to solve these difficulties.The custom of recognizing relatives has evolved through its own cultural influence,and its unique cultural value reflects its vitality.Taking the customs of recognizing relatives in some villages in Suining County as the research object,on the one hand,it can enrich our understanding of the current phenomenon of recognizing relatives in Hunan Province,and on the other hand,it can also help us deepen our comprehensive understanding of local traditional customs such as recognizing relatives.Although the local dry relatives are divided into people and things,the type of human relatives occupies a dominant position,and the specific practice process of this type of dry relatives relationship is actually a kind of communication between people,which has the basic characteristics of social relationship network.Combined with the relevant theoretical guidance of social relationship network,this paper analyzes the customs of recognizing relatives in the field,so as to realize a new perspective understanding and deeper understanding of the customs of recognizing relatives in the hometown.It is found that in the process of constructing this relationship network,the seeker and the consenting party carry out the exchange between economic capital and social capital,cultural capital and economic capital according to the needs of social actors.The original human touch of customs gradually faded,the instrumental and utilitarian nature of the interaction between relatives became increasingly prominent,and the characteristics of mixed relationships became increasingly prominent,which is the embodiment of the self-adjustment of customs in the process of advancing with the times.
