Abstract/Summary:
Since its inception,cinema has been inextricably linked with children,and children’s cinema has become an important category in film art.At a time when children’s films are becoming more and more mature,the concept of cinema has also undergone profound changes,starting from socialization and adultization and passing through different stages,gradually clarifying the idea of "child orientation" as the creation of films and consciously expressing it in films,leading to a diversified creative tendency in the creation of children’s films.The short film "Report Teacher,Today I’m Depressed" tells the story of a child who pretends to be depressed to participate in a competition.The short film is always based on the theory of "child orientation",and is analyzed from three aspects: narrative strategy,character setting and visual expression,to express the spiritual pursuit and independent interest of children and to explore the sustainable development of children’s films.The introductory section discusses the background of the selected topic and the significance of the study.Chapter 1 provides a longitudinal overview of the "child-oriented" theory and the basic definition of children’s films,to better explore the commonalities and characteristics of excellent children’s films.The second chapter analyzes the rules and methods of narrative expression in children’s films under the concept of "child orientation" in terms of narrative theme,perspective and structure,and the psychological development characteristics of children.Chapter 3 presents the initial settings of the main characters,secondary characters,and other characters,and summarizes the conflicts and character expressions among the characters under the concept of "child orientation".Chapter 4 analyzes the general rules of audiovisual expression and new forms of visual expression in children’s films and summarizes and reflects on the shortcomings in creation.
