After the Qing Dynasty established the capital of Beijing, the salaries of officials in the capital, the expenses of the soldiers of the Eight Banners and the daily livelihood of the royal family all needed to be transported from the south to the north, which made the Qing government attach great importance to and rely on grain. That is to say,the state provides for the needs of the capital by collecting grain from the eight provinces. However,it is necessary to strictly control and dispatch the unloading of millions of canal to the shore and the transfer to the warehouse for storage. In the Qing Dynasty,as the functional organization of the Prime Minister for the acceptance, transfer, storage and distribution of grain, the Storehouse Yamen was responsible for the completion of canal. As the highest officer of the the Administration of Central Granary,Assistant Minister of Central Granary has a great responsibility. After its establishment,it continued the warehouse management mode of the Ming Dynasty, and gradually formed a unique warehouse management mode of the Qing Dynasty in the middle of the Qing Dynasty. In terms of official setting, the Administration of Central Granary in the Qing Dynasty set up the Manchu and Han officials together, and set up one Manchu and one Han official respectively, which went through a continuous process of debugging and development and finally customized. The selection and transfer of the chamberlains in the Qing Dynasty had its own characteristics. They had higher requirements for their origins, most of them were Jinshi and Juren origins. In addition, their selection channels were mainly from the six ministries and officials, and the migration direction was still dominated by the six ministers, chamberlains, and officials related to the water transport. This was related to the complexity of the warehousing affairs they handled, not only related to the officials of the water transport system, but also related to the local officials in the capital region. In addition, the appearance of the warehouse chambermaid in the complicated warehousing work is also multidimensional. The warehouse chambermaid,an official group, also presents multidimensional aspects in the whole central power system and socio-economic operation. In different scenarios, they have different responsibilities, such as being the supervisor of grain collection, the supervisor in the management of the North Canal, and the handling of the relationship with the grain officials due to the special nature of their warehouse management, all of which are multi-dimensional manifestations of the warehouse maid. The change of the national strength in the Qing Dynasty is one of the key factors that affect the effective functioning of the barnyard maid.At the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, when the national power was strong, the canal could be completed on schedule every year, and the canal could also be stored in good condition. The granary could be repaired on schedule. However, with the decline of the national power of the Qing Dynasty, the river channel was not regulated, resulting in the gradual relaxation of the river channel. In addition, with the development of the free market, the grain market could be freely supplied according to the supply and demand, and the impact of the war broke out in various places. The significance of grain transportation gradually disappeared. The warehouses of Central Granary continued to merge and abolish, and the Administration of Central Granary also continued to deconstruct,The official group of Assistant Minister of Central Granary, the manager of the Administration of Central Granary, also withdrew from the historical stage with the demise of the Qing Dynasty.
