An Analysis Of Hartmut Rosa’s Theory Of Social Acceleration Dynamics

Philosophy is the essence of the times,and the birth of each theory has its corresponding practical significance.Rosa is the core figure of the fourth generation of the Frankfurt School,and is also a well-known contemporary social critical theorist.As a student of Hornet,the third generation core figure of the Frankfurt School,Rosa reveals the internal logic of social acceleration based on Marxism and against the background of current reality.An in-depth analysis of the theory of social acceleration dynamics is conducive to the analysis and interpretation of many current social phenomena.Rosa proposed a comprehensive and systematic theory of social acceleration dynamics,clarifying the connotation of social acceleration.Based on the interpretation of many social phenomena,social acceleration is divided into three dimensions: the acceleration of science and technology,the acceleration of social change,and the acceleration of the pace of life.Rosa then pointed out that each dimension has its main driving force.Society is an organic whole with its own initiative.Therefore,social acceleration is also a self promoting process.In addition to the internal and external driving forces,Rosa creatively proposed the core accelerator of social acceleration-the nation state and the army.Rosa stood at the forefront of the times and proposed the theory of social acceleration criticism,placing human issues at the core and committed to solving practical problems for the general public.Examining Marxism from the perspective of speed theory helps to explore the critical resources of speed theory in Marxist theory in the new era,criticize capitalism from different dimensions,and promote the contemporary application of Marxism.Rosa closely combines the exploration of contemporary speed issues with Marxism,which is the inheritance and development of Marxism.The paper combines Marxist theory,Frankfurt School theory,and other contemporary scholars’ theories to compare and analyze the theory of social acceleration dynamics,which helps to draw useful achievements from social acceleration.
