Research On Hartmut Rosa’s Critical Theory Of Social Acceleration From The Perspective Of Historical Materialism

The purpose of this paper is to focus on Hartmut Rosa’s critical theory of social acceleration based on the perspective of Marx’s historical materialism.By studying Hartmut Rosa’s important works and relevant documents,tracing its origin,sorting out its main contents,analyzing its contributions and limitations,and discussing its significance to the modernization construction of China in the new era,so as to present the overall appearance of Hartmut Rosa’s critical theory of social acceleration.First of all,the Marx theory of alienation,the Frankfurt school critical theory,the theory of the simultaneous analytical acceleration thought and the thought collision with the Rahel Jaeggi are the sources of its theory.Secondly,by sorting out and analyzing the two main axes of "accelerating society" and "resonance" of Hartmut Rosa’s critical theory of social acceleration,its main content is reconstructed as a whole.Thirdly,Hartmut Rosa’s critical theory of social acceleration is critically reviewed to clarify its contribution and limitations.Its contribution is mainly reflected in the enrichment of Marx’s alienation theory,the inheritance of Frankfurt critical tradition,and integration in the study of modern social theory;its limitations are mainly reflected in weakening the role of capital logic,exaggerating the influence of cultural factors and the abstract solutions.Finally,Hartmut Rosa’s critical theory of social acceleration has certain enlightenment for the modernization construction of China in the dual territory.This is mainly manifested in three aspects: at the macro level,adhere to the new development concept;at the medium level,improve the livelihood security system,replace the accelerated urbanization with deep urbanization;at the micro level,cultivate personal moral responsibility,establish a correct view of time.
