Reappearance Of Historical Scenes In Thematic Painting

The site of the Third National Congress of the Communist Party of China has experienced several important changes in history,including the period of the Third National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the period when it was made into a warehouse after the founding of the People’s Republic of China,and the period when the site of the Third National Congress of the Communist Party of China was built in2006.However,because the site of the Three National Congress was destroyed by the Japanese army in 1938 and was not rebuilt for various reasons,the original site of the Three National Congress lacked a clear image in people’s minds,so the complete thematic art creation about the site of the Three National Congress of the Communist Party of China is rarely circulated.The research of this paper is based on an old photo of the three major conference sites that was built into bungalows after the founding of the People’s Republic of China,which is widely circulated on the Internet.Through studying the details of the buildings in the old photos and combining with the materials taken by the author through field investigation,a series of group paintings of the three major conference sites of the Communist Party of China were created to make up for the lack of the three major conference sites in the creation of thematic historical paintings.Firstly,this paper makes a detailed study of the relevant background of the three major conference sites by using the literature survey method,and interviews with the scholars of the three major conferences of the Communist Party of China to obtain some arguments that have not been verified.Then,the details and changes in each old photo were compared by observation and comparison,and the materials similar to the old photo and similar to the age were taken by field investigation.The details of the tile roof,holes,green plants,windows and walls in the old photo buildings were thoroughly studied and analyzed.Then,the author discusses the series of paintings of the three major conference sites,focusing on the creation process of the two works,"The Solitary Court Road in 1923" and "The Three Great Conference Sites after the founding of the People’s Republic of China",and re-shoots and corroborates the unclear details in the historical documents and historical photos,in order to achieve the creation purpose of bringing the scenes in history as close to reality as possible.The creation of thematic historical paintings requires us to have a comprehensive understanding of the characteristics of the times and historical background of the theme.We always want to approach the historical reality infinitely in our creation,but our understanding of history is inevitably biased.We can verify the appearance and size of historical buildings,as well as the characters and scale of historical events through historical documents and experience,but the variable factors such as the feeling of the building in the sun at that time,the traces of the outer wall,and the actions,expressions and psychological states of the characters in the event cannot be truly restored in artistic creation.These variable factors can only be completed by adding subjective factors.So when we want to restore the real history in art,how many factors of authenticity are there?...
