Red education is a kind of moral education,folk art teaching is aesthetic education,moral education should understand the reason,aesthetic education should be emotional,the two are interrelated and penetrate each other.With the continuous development of The Times,the society’s demand for spiritual education is getting stronger and stronger,which requires that in the knowledge and information age,we should not only return to the truth and grasp the original self-requirements,but also have the determination to face The Times and meet the difficulties and challenges.In January 2021,the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China issued two guidelines,"Guide to Introducing Revolutionary Tradition into Primary and Secondary School Curriculum Textbooks" and "Guide to Introducing Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture into Primary and Secondary School Curriculum Textbooks",which both clearly put forward that the art subject should be included with emphasis.The release of these two documents clarified the direction and provided reference requirements and practical motivation for the teaching of folk art in junior high schools in Hebei province from the perspective of red education.Based on the problems existing in the folk art teaching of junior high schools in Hebei Province,this paper focuses on the content of the red education embodied in the folk art resources of Hebei province by combining the concept of the core quality of fine arts,and carries out the folk art teaching of junior high schools in Hebei province with the theme of red education.In this paper,the author uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method,comparative research method.First of all,through the analysis of curriculum standards,art textbooks,questionnaire survey of middle school teachers and students in Hebei Province,we explored the current situation and problems of folk art curriculum and teaching in middle school art teaching in Hebei Province.Secondly,the paper studies some folk art resources with the significance of red education in Hebei Province theoretically,focuses on the collating and analyzing the works that reflect the content of red education in Wuqiang New Year wood-block prints,Yu County paper-cut and Tangshan shadow puppetry,and sums up the expression forms,artistic characteristics and functional characteristics of folk art in Hebei Province in the special period of revolutionary culture.Then,based on the teaching objectives and task requirements of the new curriculum standard,centering on the core quality,based on the cognitive level and development characteristics of middle school students,the author puts forward the teaching principles and teaching strategies that follow education,inheritance and innovation.Finally,the thesis reflects on the design and implementation of thematic unit curriculum and demonstrates its effectiveness,which provides some references for teachers in this field.In the course of design,Wuqiang New Year wood-block prints,Yu County paper-cut and Tangshan shadow play art are taken as the objects.The three kinds of folk art show common artistic characteristics in the process of artistic creation,such as "drawing" "cutting","engraving" "printing" "dyeing" and "exhibition" as the main forms of artistic expression.The eighth grade students are taken as the teaching objects.Carry out "Ji · Hot Heart--Reflected in yesterday and tomorrow" as a unit teaching theme,divided into three sub-topics for teaching design.With the main teaching links of appreciation,design and production,display and evaluation,group cooperation,answer and other activities are set up in each teaching link,gradually implementing the cultivation of students’ image reading,artistic expression,creative practice and cultural understanding,helping students to understand the core ideas,principles and processes of fine arts.Guide students to discover the significance of learning traditional folk art and red education,and form the ability to transfer art knowledge and other knowledge.According to the results of this study,red education is the starting point of folk art teaching in Hebei junior high school,and the subject unit curriculum is implemented to clarify the goal of educating people,enrich the content of teaching,optimize the design of teaching activities,attach importance to display and evaluation,and implement the training of core art literacy.In addition,students can also improve their interest in learning folk arts,promote students to understand the culture of their hometown,build a sense of family and country,and improve social responsibility.At the same time,we should cultivate youth with a sense of the times,inherit excellent Chinese traditional culture,build up national self-confidence,understand revolutionary traditional culture,carry forward patriotism,firmly believe in ideals and practice socialist core values.
