| Joaquín Turina was a representative figure of the Spanish national music school in the late 19 th and early 20 th centuries.Turina integrated the traditional musical forms and impressionist musical techniques he studied in Paris with the folk music of Andalusian region into his piano music,creating piano music with Spanish national style and making great contributions to the development of Spanish music.This thesis analyzes the third movement Orgía in Danzas fantásticas op.22,one of Joaquin Turina’s representative works.The first chapter briefly describes the composer’s personal life and the creative background of this work.The second chapter explains the embodiment of Spanish national characteristics in this piano work,where Turina cites Spanish folk music,uses dance rhythms,and imitates Spanish guitar techniques to make this work full of Spanish flavor.Then,the third chapter combs the performance skills and other aspects of the work in the context of performance experience. |
