Liu Yuxi’s political writings were written throughout his official career,but due to the ups and downs of his political experience,Liu Yuxi’s more accurate political essays were few and far between,but his political articles,as the embodiment of Liu Yuxi’s life experience and political attitude,are an important part of the comprehensive understanding of Liu Yuxi’s thoughts and articles.At the same time,it is also of great historical value to understand the social environment and personal experiences of the Middle Tang dynasty.The introduction summarizes the research on Liu Yuxi’s collected works and articles in modern and contemporary academic circles.On the whole,the research on Liu Yuxi has long been in a state of placing more emphasis on poetry than on prose,and the articles are mostly focused on concrete styles,liu Yuxi’s political essays,as a way to understand his political thinking,need to be taken seriously.Chapter One begins with a brief overview of the An Lushan Rebellion and expanding issues of finance,taxation,feudal secession,and eunuch authoritarianism that arose in the mid-tang period.This is an examination of Liu Yuxi’s attitudes,actions and writings,provide a specific background of the times.At the same time,the article defines the contents of Liu Yuxi’s political articles and sorts out the main measures on appointment,county administration,military administration and so on proposed by his political articles,and discusses them in the contemporary political articles,so as to clarify their particularity and value.In the second chapter,Liu Yuxi did not give up his integrity during the years of Yongzhen Reform and demotion.Therefore,Liu Yuxi’s political writings during the period of the dynasty are divided into two periods.In the early days,he was in charge of the shogunate of Du You,and in the latter period,he was appointed as Lianzhou’s governor in the Yuan and ten years.At that point,he explored Liu Yuxi’s revelation of important political events.He did not give up his political ideals and changed his views on solving the problems of the Tang Dynasty,but the change in the situation in the political situation caused him to show a fluctuating of positive enthusiasm and disappointment and helplessness in his attitude.The third chapter analyzes Liu Yuxi’s acceptance of the new sutras and Buddhism in the spring and Autumn period.Based on Liu Yuxi’s political essays Tian Lun and Yin Lun,this paper explores his creative roots and writing mentality,analyzes his political ideal of the interaction between man and nature,and his thoughts on change,and in his political practice and thinking play a positive role,as well as the Tian Lun for Liu Yuxi’s spiritual lift and salvation.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the political factors of Liu Yuxi’s epitaph collection.These articles were mostly written in the middle and late years of Yuxi’s life.Because of the times and personal experience,his articles gradually transition to the state of implicit conservatism,and implied Liu Yuxi’s views on current affairs.The fifth chapter compares Liu Zongyuan’s and Bai Juyi’s political essays of the same period,sorts out and compares the characteristics and differences of Liu Yuxi’s political essays in his early and later periods,and explores his unique theoretical style.Show the relationship between the writing style of the article and the individual’s life stage and thought experience.At the same time,discover its unique theoretical style and the characteristics of using words and allusions.
