Xing-Ming Political essays of Wei Dynasty have important value in Wei Dynasty writing,ideology,politics,legal system and other fields,but the academic circles have not paid enough attention to it.This paper attempts to reveal the writing style of Wei Dynasty reasoning articles and political essays,and shows the impact of the conflict and integration of Legalism and Confucianism on the writing of political essays since Wei and Jin Dynasties.Analyzing all aspects of the writing in Xing-Ming Political essays through the relationship between name and reality could find out four main styles of Xing-Ming Political essays of Wei Dynasty and the characteristics of circulation and complementarity between the related styles,thus a strong hierarchy can be revealed.The main writing motivation in Xing-Ming Political essays is to correct the relationship between name and reality,so as to strive for political orthodoxy.And then the writing motivations of such as the reorganization of laws and regulations,and the stabilization of the interior and resistance to the exterior,are derived.Besides,there is a tendency from Legalism to Confucianism for the rulers in the Wei Dynasty’s attitudes towards various subjects of the theory of criminal name politics,while the writing motivation and theme of the thesis of Xing-Ming Political essays of Wei Dynasty show a trend of Confucianism of law.In terms of the way of argumentation,it not only inherits the way of Mencius and Han Feizi’s argumentation,but also develops two ways of logical reasoning and direct expression,which improves the ability of logical reasoning in the argumentation.Furthermore,the Xing-Ming Political essays in the Wei Dynasty promotes the integration of Confucianism and Legalism in political essays,meanwhile it makes the function of refutation more prominent and pushes forward a common style of discussion on the same topic.
