Research On The Performance Of Grassroots Government Functions In The Development And Protection Of The Ancient Xianshi Town

With the comprehensive victory in the battle against poverty in China,rural revitalization has become the top priority of the "three rural areas" in the future,and vigorously developing rural tourism is an important grip for implementing the rural revitalization strategy.The development of ancient towns plays an important role in the protection of regional cultural resources and is also a new driving force for regional economic growth,bringing more opportunities for regional economic development.In the development and protection of ancient towns,whether the government can fully perform its functions is the key to the success of the work,and the correct performance of government functions can achieve the goal of social,economic,construction and the unity of the needs of the people.The thesis adopts a problem study approach,taking the ancient Xianshi town as the object,standing in the perspective of district and township grassroots government,firstly,we review and organize academic journals and books to systematically study the relevant concepts of ancient town,ancient town development and protection,and government functions.By reviewing local history books and government documents,we sorted out the history of the development and protection of the ancient Xianshi town and the performance of government functions.Using the theory of government functions,public governance theory,and sustainable development theory,the study on the problems of government functions performed in the development and protection of the ancient Xianshi town was carried out through field research,in-depth interviews,and questionnaire surveys,in accordance with the idea of asking questions,analyzing problems,and solving problems.In this study,from the five aspects of planning and design,resource integration,branding,public services,supervision and management functions,identifies the problems of the local government in the development and protection of the Ancient Xianshi Town,and the reasons were also analyzed.Finally,according to the summary of the more successful development and protection of ancient towns in China,combined with the current situation of the ancient Xianshi town,put forward the corresponding countermeasures.The research results of this thesis,on the one hand,provide a new perspective for the study of the operation and development of the ancient Xianshi town,and provide a practical reference for the continued development of local ancient town tourism and even rural tourism;on the other hand,it provides a certain reference for the development and protection of other ancient towns in China with similar resource conditions.
