In order to strengthen the protection of intangible cultural heritage,the state has proposed to combine intangible heritage themes with modern art.At present,more and more documentaries are choosing intangible cultural heritage in terms of subject matter,becoming an important carrier and means of presenting and disseminating intangible cultural heritage.Documentaries on intangible cultural heritage showcase intangible cultural heritage directly to the audience with objective and realistic visual materials,exploring the deep-seated cultural implications and cultural values of intangible cultural heritage in a combined audio-visual manner,and expressing its highly characteristic and rich aesthetics.The graduation project "Paper Cutting-Looking Good" focuses on the craft of paper cutting as part of intangible cultural heritage,using video to record the skills of paper cutting,showing the beauty of paper cutting in monochrome and overlay,and further exploring the unique charm of this craft as it has been passed down through two paper cutting inheritors.The paper is divided into four parts.In the first part,the origins and value of the subject are discussed through the responsibility of images in the transmission of intangible cultural heritage and the reproduction of the glory of paper-cutting based on its historical heritage;in the second part,the physical beauty of the craft of paper-cutting is discussed in detail in relation to the graduation work on how to use images to present the beauty of form and rhyme that paper-cutting possesses;in the third part,from the craft to the artist,the craft of paper-cutting leads to the fact that as The third part,from the craft to the artists,draws out the wise and kind-hearted female artists behind paper-cutting as a "mother art" and the awakening of consciousness inspired by the process of paper-cutting heritage;the fourth part is the creator’s reflection on the shortcomings of the graduation work.Overall,the documentary,as a kind of audio-visual art,should not only record and reproduce the intangible cultural heritage of paper-cutting,but also make use of the content of the images and the construction of sound to better render and express the artistic and cultural infectiousness of paper-cutting itself,so that the audience can better feel and experience the unique beauty of paper-cutting. |
