A Documentary Of Chinese Sports Figures From A Multimodal Perspective Creative Research

Sports documentary is an important carrier of sports culture inheritance,Chinese sports documentary not only records the changes of China’s sports life,practices the mainstream values and main theme of society,guides the audience to approach the mainstream direction of social development,but also brings the audience to think about the value and significance of social development,while sports character documentary as a branch,focusing on the story behind sports,horizontal excavation of stories,vertical discussion of character spirit,greatly meet the audience’s new needs of sports culture.With the help of documentaries as a carrier,Chinese sports stories spread sports culture and sports spirit with authenticity,narrative and life,and build the image of a national sports power.Based on the typical attributes of multimodal dynamic corpus of sports documentaries,this study conducts an overall investigation of the multimodal discourse of CCTV Documentary Channel sports character documentaries based on the overall investigation of multimodal discourse of CCTV Documentary Channel sports character documentaries based on the deconstruction of the three modalities of text,picture and sound as the main analysis framework,and analyzing the intended meaning of modal elements and the discursive significance of corpus according to the rhetoric,film and television directing and modal synergy theory of each modal representation.Firstly,the interpretation and guidance function of text speech sentence and context is analyzed through rhetoric.Secondly,the lens and picture elements of the visual mode are analyzed by using film and television art theory to enrich the character image and emphasize the main meaning;Thirdly,the rendering function of sound modal sound and non-sound language and background music is analyzed.Finally,the three are analyzed to achieve complementary advantages and cooperate with each other to complete the function of constructing the meaning of discourse.During the analysis process,there were also manifestations of functional weakening between modalities in the sample,and creative suggestions were put forward for the relationship between single-modal representation and multi-modal collaboration,and the creative suggestions were as follows:(1)Text: the content subject matter is constantly different and high-quality;(2)Vision: technology empowers diversified elements;(3)Hearing: use multiple skills to enrich sound expression;(4)Modal relationship: the collaborative development of audiovisual multi-modality.The research sample selects works represented by the central government,and its selection range is wide,and the perspective of the characters is zoomed from macro to micro,and the creative concept is well known.Through the new perspective of analysis theory,it can broaden new horizons and open up a new situation for domestic sports documentaries.Provide more thinking for solving the dilemma of sports documentaries.
