| Based on the teaching practice of Intermediate Extensive Reading in Chinese as a Foreign Language,and based on the research on Extensive Reading of Chinese as a Foreign Language and the study of lexical chunks,this paper applies lexical chunk theory to the Intermediate Extensive Reading class,in order to provide a reference for the selection and teaching of lexical chunks in the Extensive Reading class.It provides new ideas and new methods for teaching Chinese as a foreign language for intermediate-level extensive reading.In terms of theoretical research,this paper sorts out the relevant research results of extensive reading and lexical chunks,determines the lexical chunk selection procedure and categories in this paper,discusses the necessity of lexical chunk teaching in the intermediate extensive reading class,and lays the groundwork for the later text chunk selection and teaching design.In terms of language block selection and analysis,based on the 64 texts and afterschool exercises of "Backgammon Chinese Reading Course Volume 4",1591 language blocks were selected,including 1044 frame structures,314 collocation structures,and233 idioms.This paper constructs the language block teaching project of the intermediate extensive reading course in this textbook,and examines the importance of the language block in the extensive reading teaching material from five aspects,and determines the teaching focus of the extensive reading course.In terms of the error analysis of vocabulary chunks used by students in the extensive reading course,this paper collects 11 student compositions with a total of3120 words.Through chunk statistics and error analysis,we further explore the teaching key points of each type of chunk.Composition is an important reflection of students’ mastery of language knowledge,and it is helpful to further guide the teaching of language chunks by examining students’ use of language chunks from compositions.Finally,this paper introduces the teaching method of vocabulary chunks based on the characteristics of language chunks,students’ errors,and exercises after class.Combining language chunks with the content of the article and the training of reading skills,it discusses extensive reading from three aspects: the details of the article,the level of the article,and the whole article.The steps and principles of language block teaching in class,and corresponding teaching design,in order to provide some teaching reference for intermediate extensive reading class. |
