Study On The Historical Value Of Yang Pinshuo’s "lijiang Zhuzhi Ci"

Zhuzhi Ci originated from ancient folk songs in the Bayu region,with a focus on chanting local customs and traditions.Tang Dynasty poet Liu Yuxi imitated "Nine Songs" and created a bamboo branch poetry style,emphasizing both local scenery and love;The number of creators and works of Zhuzhi Ci in the Song and Yuan dynasties has been increasing day by day,with a focus on chanting local customs and documenting facts,including local history,customs,and ethnic customs;The bamboo branch poetry of the Ming and Qing dynasties has achieved unprecedented development,with its themes and functions fully expanded.The creators have fully utilized its functions of recording events and preserving history,and the bamboo branch poetry that praises local customs has been supplemented with detailed annotations and local chronicles after investigation,to supplement the shortcomings of local chronicles,greatly enhancing the role of bamboo branch poetry in preserving history.Furthermore,the authors of Zhuzhi Ci are mostly literati or folk figures,who record their life experiences,experiences,or investigations.They often contain information that traditional official literature does not pay attention to,so they have significant differences from other historical books and local records,and have high historical research value.As far as history is concerned,Zhuzhi Ci is the historical text of the general public and the bottom society,and it is a supplement to the historical materials of local history.It can be used as a folk historical material to verify and supplement history.Yang Pinshuo,a poet of the Naxi ethnic group in Lijiang during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty,is rarely seen in historical records.His "Lijiang Bamboo Branch Ci"(60 poems)involves various aspects of the Naxi ethnic group’s social production and life,beliefs and customs,marriage and burial customs,seasonal festivals,and folk entertainment in Lijiang during the Qing Dynasty.It was Yang who created Zhuzhi Ci based on personal experience and hearing,and on this basis,collected and organized relevant historical facts,old news,legends,and colloquialism to annotate Zhuzhi Ci.The preserved ethnic customs,festivals and folk entertainment of the Naxi ethnic group in Lijiang during the Qing Dynasty are mostly content that traditional literature does not pay attention to or provide detailed descriptions.This supplements the gaps in historical records of the Naxi ethnic group’s social life in Lijiang during the same period,enriches the existing official historical records of the Naxi ethnic group’s social style,customs and customs,and folk life,and has important historical value in proving,supplementing,and preserving history,It provides valuable reference for future generations to study the social and cultural characteristics of the Naxi ethnic group in Lijiang during the Qing Dynasty,and important information for studying the folk history of the Naxi ethnic group in Lijiang.It is the first-hand material for future generations to study the social style and features of the Naxi ethnic group in Lijiang during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty.The article takes the Republic of China manuscript "Lijiang Zhuzhi Ci" collected by the National Library as the research text.Firstly,it introduces the overview of Yang Pinshuo’s "Lijiang Zhuzhi Ci",analyzes its historical sources,and clarifies that the content contained in it is second-hand historical materials from reference literature or first-hand historical materials from personal experience;Secondly,from the perspective of "using poetry to prove history" and "using poetry to supplement history",this article explores the content of Yang Pinshuo’s "Lijiang Bamboo Branch Ci" as a supplement to the historical information of the Naxi ethnic group in Lijiang during the Qing Dynasty in terms of social production,belief customs,marriage customs,burial customs,opera customs,festivals,and other historical materials.Finally,analyze the value and problems of Zhuzhi Ci in historical research,affirm the role of Zhuzhi Ci as folk literature in historical research,and point out the issues that should be paid attention to when using Zhuzhi Ci as a special historical material.
