| The number of learners of Chinese is rising year by year, representing the concern and recognition of China in the world, and countries are paying more and more attention to the education of Chinese language. However, learning Chinese is not an easy task for learners whose mother tongue is not Chinese. At the elementary stage of learning, students are more motivated to learn Chinese. When Chinese language teaching enters the intermediate stage, students face different challenges and difficulties, resulting in less motivation to learn than at the beginner stage. To address this problem, this paper explores the feasibility of applying the game teaching method to the teaching of integrated Chinese language classes at the intermediate level. In response to the challenges and difficulties faced by intermediate Chinese learners in the learning process,a solution is proposed for integrating the game teaching method into classroom teaching. This paper takes the Chinese intermediate comprehensive textbook "Developing Chinese-Intermediate Comprehensive" as an example, and designs a game plan suitable for word learning, going into the text, comprehensive annotation, and comprehensive practice.Taking the lesson "Test Your Survival Skills" in the textbook as an example, the teaching game is added into the teaching design to enhance students’ learning interest and teaching effectiveness. The game teaching method explored in this paper can better solve the problems of classroom boredom and learning difficulties, and improve students’ motivation and learning effectiveness.Although the application of game teaching method in Chinese teaching is promising, the specific practice needs further exploration and improvement to meet the needs of learners at different levels and to better promote the quality and level of Chinese teaching. |
