| Honorifics play a pivotal role in interpersonal communication, and in the process of language communication, people often use honorifics to express their respect to each other.Especially in Asian countries such as China and Japan, honorifics have a unique cultural color. Many foreign students often have some biases when using Chinese honorifics to communicate, because they do not understand honorifics and the cultural information behind them, which affects normal communication. Therefore, this paper aims to use questionnaires and comparative analysis to investigate the learning of honorifics by intermediate Chinese students in the Kansai region,in order to help the academic community understand the current situation and existing problems of foreign students’ honorifics learning. The first chapter of this paper is an introduction, which mainly expounds the reasons for the selection of topics, research methods, research objectives and innovations. The second chapter is a comparative study of honorifics in China and Japan, which defines and conducts comparative research on the concepts related to honorifics in Chinese and Japanese. The third chapter focuses on intermediate and advanced Chinese students in the Kansai region. On the basis of determining the criteria for the selection of Chinese honorifics, the honorifics appearing in the International Standards for Chinese Education Levels were counted, and the honorific words in the corresponding language levels of the intermediate class were selected, and the corresponding questionnaires were set up and the collected questionnaires were analyzed by using the questionnaire survey method.Based on the results of the questionnaire analysis in Chapter 3,Chapter 4 puts forward the current problems in the teaching of honorifics in Chinese as a foreign language, explores the root causes of these problems, and makes suggestions. To summarize the conclusions of this study, this study believes that students’ overall learning of honorifics is better, but due to textbook writing, classroom teaching, cultural factors, students themselves, etc.,students have biases in the use of honorifics. The fifth part builds on the previous parts to carry out a teaching design for Chinese honorific courses for local Japanese learners.Based on the views of the above chapters,it is hoped that this study can make a certain sharing of understanding of Chinese honorific education in the Kansai region, improving the preparation of honorifics in Chinese as a foreign language textbooks, standardizing the teaching of honorifics in the current teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, and improving the daily communication skills of international students. It provides reference for domestic research in related aspects and makes certain contributions to the development of Chinese as a foreign language education. |
